Dr. Rajiv Rasikbhai Chokshi, MD

I spent two months waiting for an appointment as a new patient with Dr. Chokshi. The 1st appointment was re-sheduled a day before because the Dr. had an emergency and the 2nd one was cancelled a day before of the appointment because he is RETIRING. The person that called asked if I was aware that Dr. Chockshi was retiring, how am I supposed to know that if they repeditely cancelled my appointement without proper notice. She still had the nerves to ask if I wanted to see another Dr. with them, I didnt hang up the phone because I am polite. Save your time and don’t even bother.

I heard good things about this Dr. My wife and mother have gone to him for years so I decided to give him a try. When I arrived I filled out ALL the forms, gave my personal history, my insurance info and personal information. I waited 1 1/2 hrs and office staff informed me I had to pay for visit in cash because they don't accept credit cards. I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF THIS PRACTICE in the 21st century. I asked them why they didnt tell me when I arrived. You figure since it was their error, they would make an exception and accept a check. My family goes here, I own my own home, A+ credit rating and had the same professional job for 25 years. Not here. Very rude, unaccommodating.

He is a great Dr. Is a shame the waiting in the lobby is so disrespectful. The average wait is about 2 to 3 hours

Dr. Chokshi, is the best Doctor. He is very caring and compassionate. He always returns my calls, personally. He spends time listening to my concerns/issues attentively. I have not met a doctor like him!!

I can say with confidence that Dr. Chokshi is the best. He is very friendly and is good at diagnosing and he does a good job doing follow-up with the patients.

Dr Chokshi is the finest and most knowlegeable Internist in Florida. He has been my Doctor for 17 years. You will find my words are true.

a very compassionate and personable doctorgreat clinician and diagnostician and always treats his patients as if he is treating his own familywaiting is a problem but when i get my turn i always have his full attentionjust hard to find a physician like this in a TIME OF HMOs and when every doctor is hard pressed for time and their reumbersement is going down

The lady from New York is absolutely correct! I've been a patient of Dr. Chokshi's for several years and not once in all those years has he ever been anything but caring,compassionate and warm. He has called me on a Sunday evening giving me results of lab work, he's been there to comfort me at a turning point in my life and always has words of encouragement. People who have anything negative to say about him don't deserve to be his patient!!!

First of all, I have no idea who the previous comment and rating was from, but I have to say, you obviously have not been with Dr. Chokshi very long. I moved here from New York and I am an HMO patient- which everyone knows aren't the doctor friendliest type of patients. Not only does Dr. Chokshi spend time with me in the office and doesn't rush me out of the patients room, he returns my calls EVERYDAY. I have never ONCE waited for him to return a call. Also, how many doctors spend their SUNDAY nights returning calls with lab results? It's UNHEARD of, and anyone to have this doctor as theirs should be lucky.Who cares if you have to wait in the waiting room- Dr. Chokshi is just giving other patients the same courtsey he gives you, enough time and a smiling face. The office staff is very pleasant and very attentive and never once have they chosen a personal conversation over the needs of their patients. Dr. Chokshi is one of the busiest doctors in South Florida, and I find it appalling… that even one person would write anything negative.
