I arrived at Dr. Mangal's fertility clinic full of hope, but my experience left me emotionally shattered and in need of therapy. From the start, the red flags were glaring, but like many women desperate to start a family, I tried to ignore them. The practice was severely understaffed, with basic communication being nearly impossible. Appointments went unanswered for weeks, and the waiting room became my second home. The most devastating aspects began with my first surgery, where Dr. Mangal left behind fibroids and endometriosis. I wasn't informed of pricing until days before, and was pressured to sign paperwork agreeing to a C-section cut when I only wanted a laparoscopy. The post-operative care was horrific - I experienced unprecedented pain and severe complications due to miscommunication. After my egg retrieval, Dr. Mangal insisted on a second surgery to remove a fibroid and more endometriosis, recommending surrogacy. Trusting his judgment, we proceeded with finding both an egg… donor and a surrogate - a financially and emotionally expensive decision. Through a second opinion, I later discovered the fibroid was external and the surgery unnecessary. Those months of lost time, when I could have been carrying my own child, still haunt me. The mismanagement reached its peak when Dr. Mangal failed to review our egg donor's genetic information for over four months, leading to wasted time and expenses. After these four months, he stated, "we don't have a coordinator anymore that can do this surrogacy part, you will need to get an agency, and I can schedule an appointment in 2 weeks, but it will be telehealth, and I won't give you an exact time." When I requested a simple document in October 2024, he responded by terminating my care, leaving us stranded with embryos and a surrogate in limbo. It took over 20 days to receive our medical files, further delaying our journey with a new doctor. The financial aspect was equally frustrating, with unclear pricing and delayed refunds for unrendered services. But what truly breaks my heart is how this experience affected my mental health and ability to trust medical providers. Only after switching clinics did I realize fertility treatment doesn't have to be traumatic. My new clinic's organization, communication, and compassion show what fertility care should be - so different that I cry in appreciation when they call, as I was so used to begging for basic responses. I'm sharing this because other hopeful parents deserve to know: your endometriosis and fertility journey doesn't have to be marked by confusion, stress, and medical mishaps. There are practitioners who understand that behind every fertility patient is a person carrying hopes, dreams, and often heartbreak - and treat them accordingly. Contradict’s himself constantly. Video says one thing and he says another. He is terrified to write prescriptions. If you have surgery you will be in pain. I called and told them I was hurting even with meds he gave and they thought they placed me on hold, but they didn’t. They said “oh she just wants to get high”. Meanwhile I was terrified that if they are acting this way then this pain must not be normal for this procedure. I was very anxious thinking something might be wrong, but without even seeing me they said they would just call me back. They never did I had to call answering service and speak directly to Dr Mangal, and he did not seem to care either.

You will end up waiting hours for your appt. Any appt needed after surgery will never happen. I have had worse issues after seeing him than I did before.

This is based on my experience trying to get an appointment with this doctor. If you are in pain and need prompt attention, please look elsewhere. It took at least 5-7 calls PER WEEK for about 4 weeks to get a call back in order to schedule an appointment. From there, I was told to fill out a hefty set of paperwork in order to get a call back from this doctor's nurse to get an appointment. No call for another week. I called several times and finally got in, with my appointment three months away. The big day finally came, only to find out they messed up my appointment date and made it seem like it was my mistake. I was told these news in a rude manner, with no accountability on their end. I lost work revenue and an entire work day due to their mistake.

Dr. Mangal is the best doctor I have ever met! Very knowledgeable, compassionate, who truly cares about his patients. I have been Dr. Mangal's patient for 5 years and there is no other doctor I would trust in helping me with endometriosis, fibroids and fertility. Thank you, Dr. Mangal! His staff is also excellent, especially Ms. Feri.

Long story short... Love Dr.Mangal but office staff is horrible.

Truly exceptional care. I have suffered for 10 years with symptoms and his diagnosis finally offered relief. He is so caring and takes a personal interest in each patient. I feel he listened to my concerns with true empathy and acted in a professional and caring way at each step of treatment.

Dr Mangal was the only person who was able to stop my endo. I had surgery with his team over 3 years ago, and have been healthy since with no symptoms. I know folks are saying they have to wait hours to get in, but honestly it's worth it. I have my life back because of him.
