Dr. Rakesh Raina

Dr. Raina uses the two-visit method: you'll have the tooth opened and pain deadened on the first visit, the nerve cells are deadened over the following month or so, at which time you'll return for follow-up. I made a return visit because I was satisfied the first time. Pain control was very good but not perfect on tooth two. I don't think he's the cheapest around, but his manner was good and he showed real concern for my feelings and pain management. Am quite satisfied with the results.

I did not know anything was wrong with my tooth until it started turning dark. When I learned that I needed a root canal, I was frightened because I have dealt with severe trigeminal pain in the past. My daughter, who is a dental assistant, sent me to Dr. Raina. I can honestly say that getting a root canal was a piece of cake! He uses a microscopic camera so I wasn't craning my neck or standing on my head for the procedure. He is highly skilled as well as gentle and kind in his work. I couldn't be happier with my choice with Dr. Raina for my procedure.

Do not recommend. I was very disappointed and angry. I wasted time and money dealing with Mr. Raina. I was told beforehand he would be able to perform the requested services, however; he did what my regular DDS did. I went to him for a second opinion and left with the same that was given to me by my regular dentist. I have advised all my family, friends and co-workers to never use Dr. Raina.
