She knows what she is doing, and she does it well. I did not have a prior reference. She was an on-call surgeon when had to visit the ER at San Ramon hospital. My surgery was successful and I have fully recovered. I recommend her highly for her skills and communication.

I visited the San Ramon Medical Center emergency room a few weeks back due to intolerable pain in my stomach. It turned out to be an issue with my appendix. Dr. Shah operated on me even though it was late evening. The surgery was performed superbly well. No noticeable scars, no pain, no bad appendix. Thank you, Doc!

I was admitted to the ER facility at SRRMC due to severe pain in stomach. She operated on me at odd hours. She explained the surgical process in detail before taking me to the operating room. After the surgery, she took time to go over the whole process with me and explained her findings. I have fully recovered now and glad to have Dr. Shah as an ER surgeon.

Dr. Shah performed surgeries related to my colon resection and hernia. She has excellent bedside manners. She takes time to explain things in a ways that would make sense to a common patient. Every office visit I have ever had with her is pleasant. She addressed my concerns during each visit. During my hospital stay, she visited my room everyday even during weekend when she was not on call. She was very well respected by the nursing staff. An awesome physician and surgeon.

Dr Shah was my surgeon during a recent ER admission at a local hospital. I had a serious issue that required an urgent surgery. She operated me at wee hours and took care of me in my hour of need.

This review is long overdue. I have been through a rough patch with my health over the last six months which culminated in a colectomy. An inflammatory bowl disease had bothered for a while. Finally I ended up in an emergency room at a local hospital, Valley Care. Dr Shah operated me on me. She is a humble and kind individual, yet very capable and competent doctor. My procedure went very well and I am grateful for everything she did for me. I still have a long road to complete recovery ahead of me, but I am grateful to be operated by a surgeon who has improved my chances for a normal life.

Dr. Rakhee Shah is an unassuming, sincere and talented surgeon. She was on call surgeon when I went to ER with severe pain in my stomach. After initial consultation with the ER physician, she was called to examine my condition. I had to be operated for appendicitis. She explained the procedure in detail before operating on me. After the surgery, she ensure everything was well with me. I was out of the hospital in a day without any complications. I am fully recovered now and happy to have her as a surgeon.

I had an unpleasant surprise to visit the emergency room at Stanford Valley Care for an issue with my gall bladder. The surgeon on call was Dr Shah. She was professional and caring in her communication. After the examination, she took time to assess explain the problem and the surgery she was planning to perform. My surgery lasted for about an hour. I am now fully recovered and grateful to Dr Shah for a great surgery.
