Dr. Ralph E Bassett, MD

His office staff was very pleasant. Wait time was minimal. Paperwork was easy to fill out. When I saw Dr. Bassett he quickly identified my problem after listening thoroughly to my comments. He addressed the issue and answered all my questions. He left me with follow-up information that were extremely helpful. I highly recommend him. He is very personable and I felt confident that this problem I was having was addressed and taken care of.

This man should not be in patient care. You will get zero care or an ounce of compassion from this man. What you will get are insults, belittling and it will be a negative experience that will bother you for a long time. He will not listen to a word you say. He will then gaslight you into questioning why you even came in to inconvenience him and waste his time. Please look for another ENT before wasting you time and self esteem with this arrogant man.

This doctor was cruel and had the most cold, sarcastic and arrogant demeanor. I just moved to the area and am trying to establish w/new doctors. He made me feel like I was a nuisance and wasting HIS time by coming in. He was simply cruel. His office staff wasn't much better, they all seemed angry and annoyed to be there. I have autoimmune problems that cause super dry, bleeding-painful and swollen sinuses. Not much that can be done, but he was just cruel and mean. I don't know if he is a good doctor, but would rate negative stars for bedside manner!

Disappointed in my 10 minute appointment. My hearing aids warrenty, which I got thru his office at $5,000 offers a yearly meeting with ENT as well as Audiologist. First approach was what are you here for? 2nd was a scolding on how I was told my balance n dizziness was not from any ear condition that was explained last appt 15 months ago. Looked in my ears with no comment and gave me a 1 minute Lecture on falling and what breakage I may have from a fall. Was it my gray hair, that I'm a woman that I received Such disrespect from this doctor. Walked out saying OMG ??

This Doctor has seen me a couple times for the same issue over last couple months. I was told my mouth is normal and he knows because he sees mouths everyday. He also told me that he thinks I have dry mouth syndrome and there isn't nothing he feels he needs to biopsy even though I've had mouth pain and sores for 15 STRAIGHT months. NEVER GOES AWAY. I don't have the symptoms of dry mouth at all. I always have spit in mouth,never thick and stringy, no bad breath, I have lumps and thickening of my cheeks, patches of white and red growing larger everyday, Sore throat for 15 months, difficult swallowing and my voice disappears all the time. I've been ignored by multiple doctors and without a biopsy nobody will tell me how to treat this. To this Doctor this is NORMAL??? I have pictures to post but this won't allow it so I will be posting everywhere I can online. It's a terrible thing that my life is so irrelevant to these doctors that he won't even do a procedure to verify his diagnosis.

How this man ever got a license is beyond my comprehension. I've been to a few doctors over the 73 years I've inhabited this planet, but he's the worst by a long shot! He's in a big rush, doesn't want to hear anything from you and he thinks he knows more than any other doctor you might have seen. In other words, you won't need a 2nd opinion because you've heard from the GOD of ENTs! He doesn't listen. Forms his opinion from a quick perusal of your chart and gives a 30 second examination! I endured 2 1/2 hours of tests for him to evaluate which he never mentioned. If you can imagine Inspector Clouseau played by Peter Sellers doing a scene where he tries to fake being a doctor you've pretty much seen this egotist at work! Only it's not funny when you go to a doctor for help! STAY AWAY!

It is difficult to rate a doctor based on how I am feeling and his medical degree. I believe he is a good doctor but having been in a car accident and told I had hearing loss and it's just hard for me to believe. Therefore it is my decision to get a second opinion

Rude and does not want to be bothered with anything aside from the obvious. Quite rude and does not want to look beyond the surface. Condescending and will not make any effort to find a cause to the issue.
