Dr. Ralph Harrison Beaumont

I Went to his office needing to see a therapist and psychiatrist in the area just after moving here. He asked me to discuss my issues and he would decide whether it was a good idea to see him or not. After hearing the things I have been through, he told me to make an appointment. Then after the session he said he really didn't think I needed this extensive type of therapy and maybe I just needed to see and psychologist and do medication management. He then charged me for a session even though no services were rendered. I tried to contact him and he disagreed going against everything he said as if I made it up. He would not reimburse me anything. I would NOT recommend him to anyone!!!!

I was seeing him weekly for depression and anxiety during a divorce. I was out of the country for a month and, during that time, my insurance through my job changed. He continued to see me, never telling me that my insurance wasn't paying (if he had told me then, I could have taken care of it right then!) When he finally started sending angry collection letters MONTHS LATER, it was too late to set it all straight with insurance and I was stuck with a $1000 bill. Then he sent a process server to my door and sued me for $1000. His professionalism and business courtesy are nil.

Not helpful at all, charged twice for an appointment.

I paid out of pocket for my visit with Dr. Beaumont not knowing that my insurance had covered the visit. Both my wife and I made repeated calls to get the money I paid out of pocket back. Dr. Beaumont did not have the courtesy to return either of my calls. After getting a hold of his billing service she ensured me the first time I talked to her that I would see my refund within a week. After not seeing it within a week I called back and his billing service said it actually would be a month before I would see my refund. To date I still have not received a return phone call from Dr. Beaumont regarding this issue, nor have I received a refund. I do not think the visit I had with Dr. Beaumont was worth the money I and definitely not paying for it twice.
