In 1981, I received my bachelor's degree in biochemistry and microbiology from the University of California at Los Angeles. Motivated by my interest in science and healing, I attended the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic and received my doctorate degree in 1987. After seven years in practice, I returned to school to pursue my continuing interest in medicine and pain management. I received my medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in 1998.
After completing my residency in anesthesiology at Stanford University in July of 2003 I applied for a position with the department of anesthesia here in Walnut Creek.
My wife and I couldn't be happier with our decision to plant our roots here and I am truly proud to be a Kaiser Permanente physician.
