Dr. Ralph Patrick Broadwater, MD

Over the past 4 years our family has seen this doctor in the emergency room at Speare Memorial Hospital in Plymouth NH. First time, our daughter was transported there via ambulance from her doctors office because she had collapsed at school. Dr. Broadwater was rude and unhelpful. Said there was nothing wrong with her and nothing he could do. 2nd time, my husband was rushed to the ER with difficulty breathing that appeared to be an anaphylaxic reaction to something that was burning in a campfire. Dr. Broadwater stated “I don’t know what you expect me to do here” and diagnosed him with GERD. I had to ask for a breathing treatment. Lastly, a few months ago, I woke out of a sleep with a pounding headache and chest pain. I thought I was possibly havin a heart attack. When I arrived at the ER, my blood pressure was 217/123 and Dr. Broadwater stated “I don’t really know what you want me to do here.” I was given potassium and fluids and sent home. Only to be admitted inpatient for 72 hours at… a different hospital less than 24 hours later because my blood pressure could not be controlled. This guy needs to find a new profession since his famous words are always “I don’t know what you want me to do.”

I liked his business-like manner to my concern and its resolution in the hospital ER.
