Dr. Ralph H Epstein

Dr. Epstein and his team participated in my son's oral surgery at Stony Brook hospital. He was the Anesthesiologist for a 15 hour surgery! He could have retired after many hours but insisted on seeing it to the end. My son woke after 15 hours without nausea or any other issues. He and his team were above and beyond pre-surgery. They were incredibly thorough with their questioning and wanting to know every detail about 7 prior surgeries. As nervous as a mom can be with a child in surgery way beyond predicted, I had sooo much piece of mind knowing he was there throughout! He followed-up with my son after the surgery and made sure we had every way to contact him. Have you ever heard of an Anesthesiologist calling a patient after surgery?? I can't possibly say enough!! As with his excellent surgeon at Stony Brook, he was relentless in his efforts to help my son and they were successful!! :):).
