Dr. Ralph Edward Gay, MD

Saw this Dr at Mayo Clinic for lifelong severe spinal arthritis, degeneration, scoliosis. He kept me waiting nearly 45 minutes and did a fairly thorough physical exam - causing me a great deal of pain about which he appeared entirely unconcerned. He asked a number of questions but was not very happy when I asked him questions. At the end of the exam he essentially said there was no treatment of any kind for my neck and back - not even physical therapy! - and couldn't wait to get us out of his office as he had his coat and briefcase ready to go - after all, it was 4:30 on a Friday! Don't recommend him for anyone; humorless, totally lacking in empathy of any kind and in the end, of no medical use whatsoever. My wife attended the exam as well, so my personal opinion is fully corroborated.
