I too have had more than one bad experience with this office starting with the dark haired woman at the front desk . The first thing out of her mouth is insurance card co fee . She appears to have quite a few bad days up front I do understand that she deals with sick people who might not be in the best of moods when they arrive but really it's not their fault they are in a bad mood . I was scheduled for a work related claim and was told to go to the room the doctor will be right with you 30 minutes later the pa shows up to ask me why "they" sent me to see him because he doesn't do this type of claim .Great so I wait for 1/2 hour and pay my 25.00 co fee to find out that it was all a waste of MY time and MY money and a full day of sick pay wasted because the staff up front didn't know they don't do these types of claims ?? she specifically ask me what the appointment was for she went as far as asking me for the paperwork for the claim before making the appointment so I have to believe… that they knew all along and just took my money and time for themselves. So after he tells me he cant help me I mentioned my reasons for the visit all health related and he looks at me and says you look like you have cancer WHAT really I LOOK like I might have cancer? are you serious I LOOK like I might have cancer what kind of a statement is that to make to a patient that you have no tests on? unbelievable. He promptly schedules me to see HIS internist in a month A MONTH you just told me I LOOK like I have cancer and you will see me in a month yeah if I'm still alive. I promptly scheduled a cat scan with my internist and will get the results next week . I cancelled the appointment with their internist. The unprofessional care this office provides will not work for me and hopefully for a few other patients . And one more thing I get my medical records from every doctor I see every year and all but this doctor hand them over no questions asked but here they give you the 3rd degree before CHARGING ME 10.00 FOR MY OWN RECORDS the only doctor I have that charges for records . Are you starting to get the picture here (a money wheel). If my results come back positive for cancer I will apologize and delete this review but don't be surprised if it stays.

You would think that if you are feeling sick the last thing you would want is someone giving you and attitude. Nothing picks you up like a rude person, they even help raise your blood pressure for free so that you can feel better before the doctor comes in to check you out. I asked for a copy of my record so that I might have it in my personal files and they acted as if I were about to rob a bank, excuse after excuse was needed before I finally was able to have what I wanted. If you like to pay for an angry afternoon with incompetent people feel free to schedule an appointment with this doctor's office.

Physician prescribed medication without seeing me in person. Would have been very bad if I had not gone to another Dr. for a second opinion. PA's have high turnover rate, difficult to get consistent care from someone that knows your issues. Will NOT go out of their way to help in unusual circumstances, staff is rude over telephone.

Dr. Mayberry's wonderful people greet me by name every time that I go in to the office. First class all the way, they don't ignore you and will take notice if there is a problem. One of the P.A's at this office took it personally when I was going through my divorce. Every person that works in this office genuinely cares and wants to know how you are. It is a very cheerful place and it seems like it is all the caring people that make it that way.
