I've been seeing Dr. Ortize for quite sometime now and in all candor, I have no issues with him. I've had numerous tests, "adjustments", injections and prescriptions with him and I've always found him to be straight up professional. He may not be your typical doctor but at the same time, he's a "no nonsense" kind of Doctor. I enjoy his mannerisms and attitudes and his jokes. He keeps me laughing whenever I go in.

This Doctor is the most unprofessional doctor (if you can call him that) that i've ever seen. Doesn't Listen, Talks over you while mocking what you've told him, Belittles you in a very condescending manner. If you don't speak quickly enough for him he will put his own words in your mouth. By far the most Full-of-himself and worst doctor i've been to. I can't in good conscience recommend him to anyone. The staff seemed professional and friendly enough except for scheduling my appointment to be there early while they were at lunch and closed. The premises were atrocious. Dingy, dirty looking and it didnt get much better inside. Almost like going to the doctor in a 3rd world country. Smelled terribly of alcohol, bleach and hospital stink. The sad part is the premises were the highlight of the appointment. I wouldnt even give him one star if i didnt have to.

Seemed more into just writing the scripts over the DO portion of the practice

Dr. Ralph Ortiz and his staff are an exemplary medical organisation. Dr. Ortiz is the top pain specialist in Tompkins County, NY. He is incredibly experienced and cutting edge in his field.

Dr. Ortiz and his entire staff are amazing! They're a God sent! I had an unusual injury and have had many many surgeries. Dr.Ortiz is such a nice man. He's current on all the newest medications and therapy. I lost hope before I met him. Now he has me on the right track and I have hope again for my future.

Chronic pain is so difficult to deal with. So many physicians do not understand how to test the chronic pain patient. Dr. Ortiz takes time to understand you, listens and treats the whole patient. I always found his staff thorough and friendly. As a patient I also have to take responsibility for my care. I would highly recommend him to those suffering chronic pain.
