Dr. Ralph Stoddard Sharman, MD

This doctor has terrible bedside manner, and should not be allowed to see patients. His insensitivity was brash and flippant for a serious subject matter. If I needed to receive a test, I would go to a completely different lab to avoid this doctor.

He missed my breast cancer. He called it a fibroid. I almost died. Worst doctor ever!! He has drug and alcohol problems too. Look him up on medical board website.

I went for a lump in my breast. Doctor told me it was a benign fibroadenoma and that it never turns malign. He asked me to come back in 6 months to check measurements in case I wanted to take it away for a matter of discomfort. Two months later I did an ultrasound in another facility. After performing a biopsy, they diagnosed me with cancer and with lymph nodes involved. Now I'm undergoing chemotherapy, then I will be having several surgeries, and radiation. I would NEVER recommend this doctor and this breast imaging center to anybody.

Worst doctor ever. Terrible bedside manner. Arrogant old man who should be disbarred.

For all the years I've know Dr. Sharman he has been nothing but professional. I've been a patient for over 20 years. His kindness in telling me the sex of both my children was a blessing. He was genuinely happy for me and my husband. He went above and beyond helping me when I was having uterine issues and broke the news of endomiosis and a necessary hysterectomy with care and compassion. He personally helped me take the next steps in getting well and recommend an excellent surgeon. This guy knows his stuff! He's one of the most influential radiologists of all time, he has been a major influence in radiological science and came very recommended. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my scans. He's really nice too!

Dr Sharman is the most unprofessional Doctor I have ever seen in my life. When we were finally taken in for my 20 week ultrasound after waiting 1 hour 15 minutes after the scheduled appointment, my husband asked me if anyone had apologized to me for the wait. Dr Sharman immediately got up and started yelling that he certainly wasn't going to apologize. He then went on and on about how we didn't know who he was (and then proceeded to say he is one of the best radiologists in the world). My husband said he still thought I was owed an apology by someone in the office at which point it looked like Dr Sharman was going to punch him across the bed that I was laying on. I truly believe that if the nurse and I hadn't been there, he would have punched my husband. I will be reporting him to the medical bar.
