Excellent dootor, I highly recommend

Dr. Spada is a good Doctor. He listens to his patients and explains what's going on in good detail. He is also humble enough to understand that some issues have no ready medical explanations or require outside expertise. He also is not a slave to AMA protocols if you need very specialized care. I recommend him.

Your better off going to a veterinarian

When I called the office to book an appointment to become a new patient the person that picked up what friendly and cheerful. They explained that they were booking out one month for new patients before taken information and I found that very informative before going through the given out my information. I booked my appointment and before hanging up they explained to arrive 15 minutes before for the appointment to fill out paper work. They explained were they were located and which entrances were better to come in. On the day of my appointment everything went smoothly and there was no waiting after my paper work was finished. I found Dr Spada very cheerful and he spent time taken all my medical history due to the my previous doctor did not send my medical records. Over all great staff and Doctor!!!!

Dr Spada is a Ok Doc and is concerned for his patiences, The problem I have is his staff lack assertiveness and knowledge for procedures. I am still waiting for a prescription that was given to me over 2 weeks ago and I keep calling Spada office and they tell me they can't do anything and I need to wait. That's not helping patiences is it. That's why I trying to get another Doctor. I hope Spada realizes who he got for a staff before he loses more patiences.

Dr. Spada was totally rude and disrespectful to me. He yelled at me and suggested strongly that I either do it his way or find another provider. I was sick, in pain, confused and had no where else to go. Any man on the street ever talked to me like that, or disrespected and even thought about abusing me, I would surely be THE LAST person they disrespected. My mistake was not filing a complaint with The Board of Medicine. I stopped going to him about 2 years ago and found that the VA in Worcester, TREATS VETERANS WITH RESPECT AND DIGNITY!

Dr Spada is by far the most unprofessional doctor I have ever met. Not only was he rude to me, but his staff as well right in front of me. He should be ashamed of himself....clearly he can't handle his own practice. This is a teaching office, and I have to say I like when I see a student over Dr Spada any day. He is a cold hearted person with no empathy or compassion for other human beings.

hung up on me, was my gp but refused to admit it, lied about sending my medical records, had fired his staff and couldn't handle so many patients, thought he was gonna have a breakdown right then and there, was recommended by previous pain doc, but influx was too great

Never in my life have I encountered a Dr. like this !!! When he took over a Pain Management practice one would assume he would have knowledge in that area but I can assure you he did NOT. I was told he wanted to HELP me and understood my pain issues he seemed very understanding for my first few visits. Then it all changed he said that he wanted to order something to help me sleep but didn't tell me what just ordered it. Turns out it was a antidepressant which I did not need !!!! He said either you take them or you don't get your pain medications and that ALL his patients no matter what their problems MUST take them ! I could go on forever about the comments and inappropriate behaviour. Everything about his practice is wrong he puts people down and does NOT have any compassion or understanding of patients with severe pain issues. I will NEVER go to that office again and would NOT recommend him to ANYONE !! STAY AWAY !!!!

I wish I had read these reviews prior to seeing Dr. Spada. I, too, was treated with disrespect and he totally disregarded what I had to say. He wouldn't allow me to complete my sentences without interrupting me. I, too, told him of the difficulty I was having with a medication and its side effects, and he basically said I hadn't given it a chance and INCREASED it. He treated me like I was an idiot and without coming out and saying it, assumed I was a drug addict and inferred I was only seeking to continue obtaining narcotic medication. I have had chronic pain issues for many years and take the medication that has been prescribed to me. I don't ASK for narcotic medication. It is obvious he has an issue with people with chronic pain issues and assumes they are all drug seeking. As others have stated, he was rude and dismissive. I have found a new doctor.
