Dr. Ralph W Thieme, DO

Exceptional doctor who thoughtfully explains how to heal your body yourself. His whole body approach makes so much sense.

After having spoken to this arrogant and self absorbed man for five minutes on the phone, I would never with good faith, recommend him as a provider. Rude and lacking empathy.

so my daughter has been having back problems for a while now so our doctor suggested to go see Ralph and see what he says, so we did. As soon as we walked in it was already weird, no one else was there, just him. He had my daughter fill out a paper of where her back pain is and not only did he not even look at the paper he wasn't even correct about her back problems. I would never recommend him to anyone. He would have my daughter do a stretch then ask how her back felt after. She would give a honest response with no change and he would make her keep on doing it until she said it felt better. He would repeatedly say "no thats the wrong answer, how does it really feel?" at this point my daughter was fed up with his "work" because clearly his work looked like he was getting it from a 2 year old. Not to mention he was extremely touchy and uncomfortable to be around, and to top it off that "apt" cost over 300 dollars.... waste of my time and money!!! I normally never do bad rates but this… guy really needed one.

This was the most arrogant man. He would not listen to me describe my issue. He used a pre printed set of questions to determine what was wrong. I was in so much pain the week after my visit with him that my primary Dr had to prescribe pain medication. I could not even walk. He was rude and had no idea what he was doing.

Dr. Thieme is caring and compassionate - and very competent. I have seen him for a while, and he helps with my chronic pain. He helps me to heal myself by giving instructions for exercises, stretches and posture. When needed, he can also give an acupuncture treatment. I would recommend him highly.

I have Marfan syndrome, and without Dr. Thieme, I would spend most of my day in bed and in pain. He is a GOD!

Has a caring and easy manner, and very attuned to his patients. Has a 'sixth sense' about where problems lie. Gives home exercises, which are targeted and incredibly helpful. 5 stars!

I'm a professional consultant and appreciate someone who connects through listening and feedback, and is also concerned about a good outcome. Dr. Thieme helped me with a cronic foot problem in the first visit - gave me a direction/path to help myself and hope that I can finally get back mobility that I had lost. It's been over a week since I've been pain free - not expecting miracles, but we're talking the first time pain free in perhaps 25 years. The combination of manipulation and Accupuncture seems to have worked. TBC.
