Dr. Ram Kumar Madasu, MD

All the doctors that I did go to check my tinituus problem, he was the best Took his time to explain, check and I really was so happy that I chose him to learn more about this terrible ringing in my ears. I highly recommend him to everyone who needs a caring Doctor.I want to go back so badly to see him again, unfortunately the front desk lady was very rude not taking my calls and put on hold all the time without a chance to make another appointment. One day after waiting for more then 4o min , I decided to call from my work phone number then the call was answered. I told her why you won't take my calls? She knew was me and did on purpose.I did ask to speake with the manager, she said was not available She took very personal after I confronted her on my first appointment with Dr Madasu, waiting to be given the papers to fill up all my information .. Took her more then 35 minutes to provide the papers . She spoke with all the people after I came in but completely ignored me.… I guess after confronted her she took personal and I never could make changes on my second appointment that I could not make it..I wished this wonderful Dr would scream better the front desk people land will monitor how long the patients have to wait to be answered .Sorry that she still there and after this experience I definitely do not want to go back .By the way this happened in 2023 but still feel bad by the way I was treated by her.

I really wanted to rate this office higher, as I appreciate the level of service and professionalism that Dr. Madasu gives while he is talking and explaining conditions and treatments. If you want an ENT who can do this, look no further, without a doubt. However, be warned that while this office does a fantastic job on this part of patient treatment, it does not seem like they put the same level of effort into the part that effects patients just as much- payment for their services. My first issue came up when a scan I had done required me to make a payment of over $100 because it was not all entirely covered by my insurance- guess that one is my fault for thinking I was fully covered. Then I received another bill for close to $150, which I found out was due to part of the diagnosis where a tiny tube was inserted up my nose for just a minute. I would have declined this if I knew the price tag it held up front, but silly me thought that this is a routine part that would be included… with my co-pay of $70 to see a specialist. Another frustrating experience was about 10 days before my procedure, I had a "pre-surgery" visit to go over the procedure. It was about a 10 minute appointment at most, and all that was done was he described the procedure, again, and what to expect, and there was no new information at all given to me compared to my previous 2 appointments. This could have easily been a phone call to avoid me needing to pay a $70 copay and miss over an hour of work. Now, my procedure was told to have a Surgeon's fee of $1000. Flat, no "estimated", no "it could change", or anything along those words. The only "unknown" factor to them was the hospital's payment, which I had to discuss directly with the hospital. This caused another incident that upset me with Broward ENT- the hospital was giving me a 20% discount for paying everything up front directly to them. Due to my insurance deductible being met if I paid the hospital directly first, I contacted Broward ENT to verify what the Surgeon's Fee would change to now that I would meet my deductible. My question was dodged, several times throughout the week I tried to get answers about payment, and later that week on a Friday they gave me an ultimatum- I need to make my payment of $1000 to them right away, otherwise my procedure would be cancelled. This was on a Friday I was told this, and it was the Friday before my procedure to be done on a Wednesday. Previously I was given no deadline to make payment by, and because I paid them first, my discount given by the hospital was reduced and I ended up paying close to $300 higher out of pocket to the hospital compared to if I were to pay the hospital first instead of Broward ENT. Over a month later, I receive another surprise bill for close to a $100 listed for the day of my procedure, and when I ask and even send back the exact wording that was sent to me about the Surgeon's Fee was just $1000, I get an answer back that "it was only estimate." No, your words did NOT describe this at all. I will not be visiting this office in the future, and the reason is 100% based on my experience with payments with them. The frustrations were definitely not worth it, and given my questions and concerns to them the first time I experienced a surprise bill with them, I would have thought that they would have taken more time to go over payments in more detail in the future

Doctor Madasu made me feel at ease for the examination. I had previously heard of how the scope exam hurts from several people, (even medical) but that was not my experience. I found his staff to be friendly and not rude as I have read. Doctor Madasu's instructions were clear about what follow up treatment should be. His staff even provided me with written instructions. The doctor was a good listener and I can see why wait time was a little long because he was thorough with each patient.

its impossible to get someone to answer the phone, it rings endlessly then disconnects, the number on website must not be accurate.

Dr Madusu has to be the worst Dr I have ever encountered. If there was the option to select minus for my review I most certainly would have. I would not return to his practice even if someone paid me too... The only positive in his vicinity is his staff. Stay Far away From his Practice... Far away!!!!!!

This place is out to just steal your money. I was there for a visit to help with my snoring. It was just a normal office visit where Dr. Madasu placed a camera/scope in my nose to see what was going on. I paid my co-pay and left. Later on I received an additional charge for the scope. The Dr. never informed me that the 'procedure' would cost extra and is now refusing to even talk to me about it, because as he told his office staff "I am a doctor, I don't speak to patients about money". Well, it is not okay to arbitrarily charge a patient for a procedure that was not approved. The worst customer service ever, I do not recommend this doctor's office at all!!!

I went to Dr. Madasu office and saw a PA...she told me that he couldn't take my illness seriously because I was a smoker....geez!

Love this office!! Staff is super sweet. Madasu is very nice, good bed side manners, and is very smart! He made me feel 100% better!

I appreciated how I was treated by every single staff member. The doctor was a delight.
