Dr. Ram Kishan Mittal, MD

Dr. Mittal came in on a Sunday morning to assess my condition. He scheduled me for surgery immediately the next morning. His diagnosis was correct and his surgical skills prevented me from having any life threatening complications. Over the next few days he continued monitoring my situation at the hospital. Although his bedside manner is not overly friendly and at times I had difficulty understanding what he was telling me, I have to remember he was there for his medical expertise, which was appreciated. That aspect alone outweighs any other shortcomings.

To get a hold of this doctor is IMPOSSIBLE! He is never open, I always get his paging service. I left FMLA papers for him to sign LAST WEEK and he didnt know how to fill them out fine, whatever, so I am trying to get a hold of his assistant and either no one is in or the line is always busy. This office SUCKS. As much state money as he is taking for these stupid surgeries, the least he can do is keep his office open long enough to attend to his patients. I havent even made a follow up appointment because I cant get a hold of ANYONE! I think the surgery went fine, but heck, WHO KNOWS since the hospital has done more following up than him or his office! I DO NOT recommend this guy- Its been a HASSLE! ONE STAR since I cant give him zero!

His bedside manner is the worst I have ever seen or experienced. He had to be called in two days after surgery by the GP to check on the patient, and had not seen the patient before that other then to perform the surgery.
