Dr. Ram Chandra Sharma, MD

I had an excellent experience visiting Dr. Sharma. His staff were very professional and kind. Dr. Sharma himself was extremely knowledgeable and had the best bedside manner I've seen so far. He spent a lot of time explaining my illness to me and made sure all of my questions were answered. He was also a great listener and really addressed my needs. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone who is looking for a cardiologist.

Fantastic doctor vet caring never rushed

My fiance' was rushed to the hospital for heart failure, with a life threatening ejection fraction of just 15 percent. Her blood pressure was dangerously high, and nothing could bring it down, but Dr. Sharma kept at it until he found the right medicines and dosages. Dr. Sharma was absolutely wonderful in getting her to a stable blood pressure and normal EF level. Not only was he knowledgeable about her condition, his bedside manner and follow up sets a new standard for medical practitioners.

I want to be fair in critiquing Dr. Sharma, because many take their frustrations out unfairly on doctors.That said, Dr. Sharma knows medicine very well. He is on the cutting edge of medicinal treatment. He is a take charge doctor and very assertive when dealing with a problem.However, I find his demeanor to be arrogant and argumentative. Unlike many doctors see their patients as human beings, Dr. Sharma tends to treat them like numbers. There is no room for dialogue and he seems not to be in touch with the different realities his patients live within.I am thankful to him for reducing my medicines and thus, easing the damage to my body. However, an important factor in having a relationship with a doctor is the ability to communicate effectively with them. I do not feel that is possible with Dr. Sharma.
