Dr. Rama Suresh, MD

I see Dr. Suresh at the Siteman Cancer Center off Butler Hill Road. She and her team are amazing. I am receiving chemotherapy and my anxiety is at an all time high. Each time I see Dr. Suresh or her nurse practitioner, they take the time to listen to my concerns and then explain everything in a manner that I can understand. She does not limit her appointment times to a 15 minute time frame. She takes whatever time needed to address all of my concerns. The downfall to that is her clinic runs a little behind but I am appreciative of the extra time she spends with me as needed. When I call the office, her staff always returns my calls promptly. Her nurse is quick to make sure my concerns are answered promptly and compassionately. I am grateful for the care that I am receiving by Dr. Suresh and the entire Siteman team.

Dr Suresh doesn't seem too concerned with my cancer needs. It's more like a factory in there. They get you in to get your typical 3 months worth of chemo then they see ya back 6 months later after her treatment didn't work. She doesn't listen to what I have to say. Just tells me what she thinks is the problem and since she's a doctor thinks she's perfect every time. Also her head rep Dawn is the worst. She's so extremely rude and uncaring. Cancer is just so scary. No one wants to die such a horrible death. Not me. So I need a doctor that wants to CURE my cancer and not just do the typical 3 month on and 3 month off thing hoping it's going to work.

my daughter had cancer she died nov.23 2018 and I blame rama r suresh for not listening to my daughter , who wanted to go back to chemo that worked instead of the chemo that did not work,i pray that rama r suresh starts to listen to her patients and treat patients with respect, I do not recommend her to anyone who has cancer.

Dr. Suresh is an excellent doctor. She gave me the time I needed, answered all my questions, and was very kind. She was thorough and on top of all my treatment with her. Few people survive pancreas cancer. I am still living since my diagnosis in 2009. Myra Jane V.

Very nice. Explains everything. Very thorough

Bedside manner is severely lacking. She may be good at what she does, but I dread going to see her each visit. She is abrasive and almost on the side of rude. The nurses and office staff are rude as well. The other older volunteers are kind and try to be very helpful.

When you have cancer you are scared. This doctor made my experience the most scariest of all. No communication skills, poor bedside manner, finally switched to someone else.

I have full trust in this doctor. She went above and beyond the average doctor in explaining to me my diagnosis and treatment. I felt very comfortable after talking to her. She has been my doctor for the last 5 years. She has always answered my questions patiently. Thanks to her, I am cancer free

She explained my cancer treatments in terms that was easy to understand. She spent a lot of time going over the treatment plan and co-ordinating my care.

Found this MD to be totally lacking in bedside manner. Asked questions but seemed to only want brief if any responses. Her nurse assistant, Kathy, had exactly the same traits. Appeared that her priority was to be finished with my appointment as soon as possible.
