Hard not to give the dr. 5 stars as he is the man my wife credits for saving my life, my experience with him has been positive and I enjoyed his bedside manner

Dr. Tumuluri may have a wealth of knowledge, but lacks compassion, patience, and the ability to connect with his patients. He is always in a hurry and does not satisfactorily answer questions. He comes across as the almighty doctor and when you try to ask questions his answers come with a smirk as if to say "I'm the doctor - just do as I say" vs answering questions in a way the patient can understand. We no longer live in the days when doctors don't have an obligation to meet ALL the patients needs. They need to be able to treat patients on all levels and sadly he does not.

Dr Tumuluri pushes medication that has not been proven to lower future cardiac events. He does not like it when patients read medical literature and bring questions to him. He can become very defensive and abrupt. He often makes you wait, but does not hesitate to take calls while with you. His support staff are very good, but there is only so much they can do to reduce his arrogance. Charges for his time are very high.
