Dr. Ramanathan Muthaiah, MD

They are giving pills out like it is Halloween. If you don't advocate for yourself you could be taking the wrong meds. 4# times I have had to bring this to their attention. Once I have my hip taken care of, I will be looking for another DR. he does not deserve to be called a DR...The place is a joke...Save yourself and don't go there.

Absolutely incompetent and pathetic business practices. Lousy care and lousy office staff. It is a business filled with really really low performers, do nothing staff and lazy practitioners.

My girlfriend went to this man after moving to Las Vegas. She had been on the same medications for many years. She explained all this to Mr Ramanathan. (I won't call him a doctor) He got them all wrong. He mis-prescribed her medications. He got it all wrong. They were all the wrong doses, some too light, some too heavy. She spent a month sick because she wasn't aware of how badly he'd screwed up. This man is a menace. He has absolutely no business calling himself a doctor. he should be in prison. He is criminally incompetent. Beware. Do not trust your health to this man.

The only thing I do not like is, this doctor is quick to prescribe a pill for everything. Instead of fixing the problem, he will prescribe a pill for it. And many of these drugs have horrendous side effects and long term effects on the body and mind. I would love it if he would try more natural remedies first and concentrate on fixing the problem instead of masking it with a drug. Other than that, I think he is very knowledgeable and the office is run pretty efficient with a friendly staff.

Horrible doctor. Keeps giving me antidepressants for my anxiety disorder even though I've told him several times they make my suicidal/homicidal. Asked for blood work to see if I had an underlining health issue causing my panic attacks. He refused. He told me to stop reading the side effects of my medication and googling symptoms, basically telling me it's all in my head and told me to find a shrink. He doesn't make eye contact, rushes you and he even answered his cell phone once and had a full blown conversation during my app. Going back to my old doctor even though I'll have to pay out of pocket cause he doesn't take my insurance. Worth it though, atleast I can get the proper treatment and tests I deserve.

The staff is rude and disrespectful. Dr. Muthia does not listen to his patients. He put me in the hospital due to neglecting to actually listen to my issue. He is a drug pusher, but only for medicine big pharma sponsors. I have heard many patients in rooms next to me being interrupted, sighing, asking questions he runs over and doesn't give an answer to. As of my final appointment there, three people had to get the doctor to the front office again to explain why they even needed the pills he prescribed and he just kept saying you need it just go get it filled. The poor patient left confused and over medicated. I hope no one goes back there. This is the worst, most inconsiderate, pathetic excuse for a doctor I have ever seen.

I was seen by Dr Muthaiah a couple of times in the last 2 years more for walkin issues, was recently seen and told I had bronchitis....WRONG! I had pneumonia and I ended up in the hospital 3 days later.

I've seen this doctor for almost a year with positive results but until recently when my medical condition became worse. I started to see the doctor 3-4 times a month. I visited the doctor on the 26th and when my condition had gotten worse I went back on the 28th. The front desk lady was incredibly rude with me and stated that there was nothing wrong with me and the only reason why I was there was to obtain a medical note for work so she refused medical service and told me to go to the ER if there was something wrong with me. I was stunned and I didn't even know what she was doing was legal. I will no longer be returning to see him even though he is a great doctor because of the poor treatment I received from one of the office staff. I had to end up going to the ER because I was worried about my condition and ended up paying a lot more then what I needed to pay. I would advise everyone to research other doctors before seeing this one and it's unfortunate because I had a horrible… experience due to one person out of the entire staff.

Dr. Muthaiah has always been very couteous, and prompt. He has taken over my medical care and will explain everything to me. He is willing to help me on every issue I have and will tell me about side effects of medicines.Most of the x rays and ultra sounds are handled right there. He is a great doctor and I highly recommend him.

Dr. M first saw my husband in Centennial Hills when he had a heart attack scare. I have previously worked with many doctors in MN and we immediately felt comfortable with Dr. M. He is very thorough, knowledgeable and personable. We never have to wait in his office for an appointment - we even can walk in and it only takes a few minutes to see him. When we moved here from MN, one of our main concerns was the medical care we would receive. Dr. M has comforted that concern and we are extremely pleased to have him as our primary care physician. Any of the referrals he has made are also very good doctors. We feel that Dr. M knows us and our medical situations and I always refer him to our friends here in Las Vegas.
