Dr. Ramandeep Kaur Brar, MD

I found Dr. Brar a number of years ago when I had been over medicated and ignored by so many male doctors. It's as if I didn't have a voice at all. I needed someone who would listen to me, understand my health issues and concerns. From the moment I met Dr. Brar I could tell she was the right person to lead my medical team - she's in charge of the heart and the heart is in charge of the rest, so she's the leader! Dr Brar listens - she hears what I'm saying. She treats the problem, the symptoms and the emotions. She has helped to manage me though a variety of crisis' and all the while she's shown patience, understanding and compassion, not only for me, but for the people who love me. Her plan has been well thought out. She's always placed the options before me and then allowed me to think them through, ask questions and then she provides further guidance. I literally trust her with my life!

Very impressed with Dr Brar. Knowledgeable, great listener, conservative in her approach and explains what she recommends and why. She is very pleasant and puts her patients at ease. She hasn't ruled out the heart rhythm procedure that my first cardio doctor wanted to do but she obviously has more heart rhythm background than he has and so she is approaching the problem with different solutions. I am very happy to have found her.

There are good doctors and there are not so good doctors. A good doctor is aware of a patient in medical crisis and proceeding with the patient's health and welling being the priority. I was recently a patient,in documented crisis, seeking help for elevated blood pressure (195/100 with pulse of 103). Dr. Brar was unaware of prescribed meditations she had prescribed for my chronic hypertension. I was a long time patient and would have expected Dr. Brar to respect the reputation we developed over time. I would not recommend her, because her gift is not helping in the healing process but inspiring a cardiac arrest. Find another doctor that is experience in the effects of medications and medications that work. After leaving her office on that doctors appointment, having elevated blood pressure in which I was seeking her help, She blamed me, the patient for not taking prescribed medications. The problem was, the medication was not one I was prescribed to take and she chooses that time to… inform me to find another cardiologist for future treatment. That was not the time to dhave that discussion. Her concern was not patient care. I was in a medical crisis seeking her help and my dignity was infringed upon. Being ill, when a patient is in the mist of a chronic illness to dismiss their care without any follow up. This Dr. is not the one if you want get better. I immediately sought a second opinion from another doctor's office and the medications Dr. Brar prescribed worsened my condition. Immediately, I responded with lower blood pressure and a feeling of well being from the second doctor's prescribed medications. The second Doctor did not agree with Dr.Brar's prescribed medications and Dr. Brar medications given for hypertension were not protocol. With all that said, the proof is in the pudding, The secret is in the sauce (sense of humor.) It's been one week with the new medication's, and I have not felt this well, well being, in a very long time.(blood pressure 110/65) I'm fortunate that it worked out for me. Will you be so lucky? My experience with Dr. Brar should have never happened.
