Dr. Ramani N Rangavajhula, MD

Dr. Rangavajhula is the worst doctor at Kaiser and that is saying a lot.

I recently had Dr R. assigned to me as a PCP. She lied outright to medical assistants to avoid me coming in for care. She is not for patients and only cares about the money she will receive from treatments.

Everything about this office was terrible every visit. The only comfort I received was the nurses and staff were very friendly. Extremely long wait times and other doctors came in to treat me when my doctor was there. I felt like a # and $$$ to the doctors not as a patient. This office is terrible and I highly recommend not going here

She is the rudest, nasty,and uncaring doctor I've ever met.. she doesn't care about her clients at all. Everytime I made an appointment I've waited 2+hours, and when I asked her why, she said that they where getting NEW clients and they are more important than I am.... she tells me it's like Christmas for her with new clients... she is an uncaring, uncompassonite doctor.. all you are is a number to her..

overall Dr. Ramani is a good doctor. She seems like she genuinely cares about your issues and i have never waited more than 5 minutes in the waiting area and 5 minutes in the room for her to arrive to see me.

She is very personable. I felt like she listened and actually cared. Very happy and up beat. Worth the wait!

Dr. R is the best dr I've seen in va beach! She is kind an caring. Listens to me. Takes the time to understand what is going on. Pro breastfeeding. I highly recommend her!!!!

Upon meeting Dr. Rangavajhula, she seemed very bland. Didn't show expression on her face, kept our meeting brief and very "matter of fact". I have had the same doctor for 7 years back in my home state, and had to recently make the move up to VA Beach due to military. My doctor back home may not have been the most punctual guy, but when he made it to the room you were all he was focused on. ANY problem or concern was addressed and was very easy to talk with. When I met with Dr. Rangavajhula for the first time, I didn't even have time to think about all of my concerns or problems. Maybe if I had come with all of them written down I would have but when is that ever the case?? I even stated a problem I was having and not a word was said about it. She completely changed the subject! I don't know if this was intentional or not but nonetheless was very disappointing. The longest she was in the room with me for was 10 minutes... 10 minutes! How is a 10 minute visit supposed to evaluate me or… my health? Mind you, this was the very first time going to her as well. I can clearly see why she has so many open appointments! On top of that the nurse/medical assistant that took my weight and vitals was so miserable! I wanted to ask her why she was in this feild because it clearly showed on her face how unhappy she was. On top of that, she was incredibly rude to me. I will be switching doctors for sure.

The main problem I had with this doctor was understanding how to take care of the health problem I was diagnosed with.
