Dr. Ramaswamy Vellore Sriraman, MD

I found him curt and in general unlikable. He was very loud and seemed unhappy to be treating a woman. He took me of my medications I had been on for years and said my former doctor was a bad doctor. He said that one of my medications (one that helped) was the kind of medication drug dealers sell and I shouldn't take it ever again any more. He didn't replace it with anything to address the same issues. I am not it good frame of mind or health since and even had to be hospitalized for medical health reasons since. I am seeking another mental health doctor at present as seeing him has worsened my mental and physical state. My previous doctor seemed to care this man didn't even seem to like or care about me at all. This doctor didn't listen to anything I told him and even gave me a medication that most patients do not tolerate well at all after I tried to tell him I had many physical issues and many allergies. The medications made me sick! I am 58 and never been treated that… badly by a doctor of any kind. I do not recommend any one especially a woman see that man. Very unprofessional. Seemed to be in a hurry and would not listen to anything I had to say about myself. It was a job to him one he didn't seem to like very much. His constant comments about, all negative, about my former doctor were inappropriate. I can only assume that my being assigned to him after my former doctor left was because the clinic wanted me to leave their care, I have.

He is always late with his appointments, I have waited over 2 hours to see him before. When you do see him, he does no investigation into your past. He doesn't look at your past diagnosis or even treat your symptoms. He completely took me off my anxiety medication because he was worried about his license. He does not care about the patient only about himself. He doesn't care what is going in your life. He has ruined my life ever since I moved to NC and he could care less. Now, I have to spend the little time I do have to find an actual Doctor that cares about his patients.
