Dr. Rami Moustafa Shaarawy, MD

Dr. Shaarawy is absolutely the most responsive, kindest and most gifted doctor my husband and I have had the pleasure of using in our 75 years. He is truly amazing -- I know a dozen others who also love him -- and we will be taking advantage of his wonderful care until planted in the ground.

I am a 50 year old Former Marine and I am making the following statement based on being evaluated and treated by Dr. Rami M Shaaraway. It is rare that I write reviews or recommendations for “Anyone”. Dr. Shaaraway fully listened to me and reviewed my medical information (both present and past) pertaining to my current medical problem. He was very professional at all times and properly and accurately diagnosed me and and precisely recommended medications with great referrals to specialist. I personally recommend to everyone living in the Canoga Park area to be treated by this doctor, his professionalism in my opinion comes from leadership both at home, colleges he attended, colleagues and his volunteer work with “Dr’s without Borders”. Dr. Shaarawy's office staff are welcoming, kind, thoughtful, and attentive. And Dr. Shaarawy is the same. What an experience -- to have a doctor listen carefully and ask questions. When he found out I needed blood tests for my cholesterol level, he immediately had them done in-office. If there were medical Oscars, he'd definitely win!

Found him flirting with a nurse after I had been waiting way too long. Highly dissatisfied

After waiting for Dr Sharaaway in the ER for 2 hours for some sort of clarity, I finally track him down and find him flirting with a nurse in the nurses station. He was extremely condescending and complacent while my grandma was lying in pain. All he told me is that they’re transferring her out and I don’t have to be here. He didn’t even take 39 seconds to walk over to give me that information himself. Extremely dissatisfied with the service, especially the way he deals with patients and their families

Dr. Shaarawy is the most caring doctor that my husband and I have ever experienced. My husband has been ill for a couple of years and has been in and out of the hospital. Dr. Shaarawy has promised to keep him out of the hospital and has given him excellent care since. He is an expert diagnostician and treated my husband’s illnesses with the ultimate care. We both are extremely grateful to this physician who is much more than a doctor. He is a healer! Dr. Shaarawy’s staff are always very responsive and kind. We couldn’t be happier.

I love Dr. Shaarawy but his staff, in particular Rebeca I hate dealing with. It takes numerous calls to her to get a prescription called in, or a refill authorized. It truly seems like this woman just does not like her job, maybe she should leave.

Dr. Shaaraway has been my doctor for the past 4 years. He is kind compassionant and really cares about your health. I feel blessed that he is in my life. I feel like I have excellent health care with him and look forward to a long relationship with him as my doctor.

I've been a patient of Dr. Shaarawy's for several years. He listens well and makes recommendations according to my individual case. I am quite pleased with the care I've received at his office.

He seems to hate his job, doesn’t want to be bothered with anything. No compassion or understanding. Treats everyone with disrespect.
