My son (just turned 10) had been with his previous Dr. since he was born, but when our insurance changed, so did his Dr. This office is so close to our home I thought we could try it out and a friend said she had gone there and liked it alright. I now realize that unless the person you ask is raving about a Dr., they are not good. Since I only needed to have some school paperwork filled out I thought it would be a good time to test the waters rather than waiting till my son was sick. Like another reviewer says the Dr. never learns your name and only says "well Sir" many time during the visit. Then the Dr. suggested 2 vaccines that are not due until 11 or 12. I'm not against vax, but when the Dr. says he recommends HPV now "because your son is a good looking boy and the girls will be chasing him" my jaw dropped. I declined the vax and the assistant had to scribble out the signature because they signed the vax card prior to administering the vax. My son also had a small rash under his… arm that the Dr. dismissed as a heat rash, but it is now getting worse. I am looking for a new ped now, which is how I found this site. And it is important to mention that the wait was long, and they have no after hours urgent care. I will not return.

It takes way to long to be seen on average an hour to an hour and a half and he says yes mam no mam about 100 times per visit its realy rude he dosent take the time to learn your name over all not a good doctor but his staff is verry nice so I gave him 2 stars

The only complaint I have is that they need to fix how they schedule their patients. I have often seen the reception area full of people waiting, including myself. For example, our appt. time is at 10:30am and we have waited 45 minutes to an hour before being called in to the room. That's not all. Once we are in the room, I have waited another 30 minutes for Dr. Amani to come in. Then, I feel like he is being rushed and doesn't have the time he needs to spend quality time with his patients. This has happened numerous of times. A piece of advice for the office is to schedule patients better so that the doctor doesn't feel rushed and he can spend some time in the room. Overall, Dr. Amani is a good doctor. He's kind and gentle with my babies. He's a good guy. His diagnosis has always been right on.

With every scheduled appoint we have gone to the initial wait time has been 45 to a hour. when my daughter was first born this doctor seemed more interested in my iphone than my baby. When he diagnosed her with thrush he did not tell us to throw away our nipples or pacifiers and how to use the antibiotics or how contagious it was. He simply just went on his way,also i've been told my other patients he does nothing to comfort the children when he gives them shots he just holds them down in restraints.The only reason he went into pediatrics is because any real doctor would know he is a joke and his patients can't really complain! I'm switching pediatricians immediately.
