I underwent surgery with Dr. Schadlu and had a remarkable experience. I was scared when I was given the diagnosis at first. Surgery went perfectly and my retina is attached again. I can see 20/20 again! So grateful. What a great doctor. Highly recommend him if you have a retina problem.

This was my first time to see and visit Dr. R. Schadlu. Very polite and outstanding professional ethics. She explained the procedure and the eye drops. I was satisfied and I was going to follow-up on her details to see a Laser eye Doctor to correct one of my eyes. Their customer service is very unprofessional and rude. Their attitudes toward customers are very unprofessional, and giving wrong address and wrong telephones numbers. I went to the addresses and telephone number and it was the wrong place to be. I called West Valley for the correct place to be and the receptive was rude and I do not care attitude on the phone toward me. I have cancelled all my appointments with West Valley on Thomas Rd. I had enough of this kind of bad attitude and it is too bad, Dr. R. Schadlu is top notch Doctor and she should not lose patients because of customer service bad attitude toward customers.

My husband has had to have 2 emergency retinal surgeries in 6 months.. We both credit the skills of this man for saving his eye sight. It does take a while to get through the appointment, but guarantee the wait is well worth it.. We would never go anywhere else. Dr Schadlu is the absolute best... shout out to his staff also, always so friendly and helpful

had an emergency (double vision); called office 400 pm on a friday. i was told to come in immediately. i was seen for a very thorough exam and was given a very helpful diagnosis. the doctor and his staff are outstandingly professional, competent and truly caring.

I was a teacher for children who were visually impaired or Blind for over 30 years. One of my responsibilities was communicating with my students' ophthalmologist to meet each student's educational needs, So I have worked with and gotten to know many professionals in the Vision Field. In my opinion Dr. Schadlu is one of the best. Not only is he an excellent surgeon with a very good reputation nationally. But he is also very caring and listened to my needs and feelings about the surgery. My retina was detached and he reattached it with surgery. When I thought that it might be detaching again, he saw me right away and reassured me that everything was actually fine. I now have normal vision in my right eye again with no side effects. I highly recommend Dr. Schadlu and especially like that he has offices around the area.
