I had a good experience with this doctor. It is not easy to find a physician who listens to you and he is one of the good listeners. He cared about my symptoms and his treatment is working.

This review is for Dr. Ramin Zand. I had a stroke, when I was out of rehab I started to look for physicians. So I got a referral for this doctor for neurology. I made the appt and went in. He said this, “what can I do for you? Who helped you? Where did you get checked? Lehigh valley hospital is where I got treated. He said, you should go there, I can’t help you there. They have all your charts. They will help you better there”. Mind you, I was just released and trying to get better. So I obviously was not thinking correctly. So Zand said, “ok so you will go there and they will help you, he tells his staff, we will cancel the appointment he had today as if he never came”. This was my experience with this guy here. Either he was discriminating me or he just didn’t want to deal with me. I will go to whatever sites I can and say this, because I have nothing but time on my hands.

I saw Dr. Zand for a second opinion. I found him very knowledgeable and trustworthy. He explained my MRI brain and different possible diagnosis. Overall I had a great experience.

Dr. Zand was condescending and lacked compassion during my initial exam. He was too quick to formulate a scary diagnosis (that turned out to be incorrect), and then criticized me for expressing anxiety. Fortunately, my second opinion neurologist was very respectful, took her time to answer questions, and refuted the original diagnosis. Her impressions were accurate, as an mri 6 months later showed a "normal brain". The previous mri turned out to be a false positive.

He is a wonderful stroke doctor, if you are able to get an appointment. It seems he is extremely busy!

My husband is a veteran and a patient of Dr. Zand. We saw him last week for the first time. We were amazed by the amount of time that he spent explaining my husband condition. I have to say that we had to wait 8 month to see him.. but I think it is VA problem though.
