Dr. Ramiz Audi, MD

My son who has been dealing with epilepsy, ADHD, high anxiety and feeding issues for about 10 years is seeing another doctor in PCH psychiatry office. After our great telehealth call today Dr Audi got on the line, not sure why. We discussed The possibility of getting a medical note so my son will not have to wear a face mask on an airplane ride. He made me feel like I was an awful mother and it was the most absurd thing he has ever heard of and I need to work on my sons coping skills. Never mind he has been working on them with a therapist at PCH for about five years. This is a kid who gets himself so upset to fly that he has panic attacks and throws up so the doctor is just add more to that anxiety that we are trying to treat. I am so disappointed and feel worse about myself and my son than I did prior to talking to him. Stay away if you want real help!!!!

I was 10 minutes late due to TRAFFIC, accidents specifically- left my house with 15 minutes to spare because I knew it was downtown and we had to park in a parking garage and walk with my 5yo. So I left my house ONE HOUR before our appt. The doctor was standing AT THE DESK when I opened the door, by the time they called me up they said I was too late he had already left. Again, HE WAS STANDING AT THE DESK WHEN I WALKED IN THE DOOR, so I signed in at the kiosk like we are supposed to. They told me I had to remake my apt for a different day but when I wanted to reschedule there are only afternoon appointments. So I spent 2 HOURS of driving time to only spend 5 minutes in the office. Like the tile says, Ridiculous.

Dr. Audi is really one-of-a-kind... a child psychiatrist who is a straight talker, but also has a great bedside manner. My daughter's issues are difficult because not only does she have depression and anxiety, but her mom (as in, I) have depression, anxiety, plus I also have Adult ADHD. This might just be too much for most psychiatrists who want to shoo you in and out. But, Dr. Audi takes the time. He has not only helped my daughter, but has helped me to realize that I MUST take care of myself better to best help my daughter. And, he does this w/compassion and complete professionalism. He really truly cares about his patients so much and sometimes that means the parent needs to make some changes. But, somehow he does this without hurting. I have no doubt that he has put us on the right path and am so grateful to him and all the staff at PCH.

My son saw Dr. Audi as an outpatient and he had a very successful treatment plan. His staff was awesome and very caring. We had a very positive experience with him.
