Dr. Ramon Eduardo Urrea, MD

I was admitted for a lower back injury, GI Bleed and heart problems. He talked at me, but when I needed to correct the reasons I was there because he was not talking to me about my case, He responded by telling me not to interrupt just listen. When he finally finished I tried to tell him that wasn’t what I was in for as he ignored me and left the room. I spent three days lectured on addiction and writhing in pain, I had to leave to get help elsewhere. I have heart problems, sever Crohn’s that hasn’t been able to be controlled and a lower back injury still acting up 6+ months later. Skip him and go to someone who will at least confirm why you’re in the hospital!

Dr urrea is the only doctor who cared enough to take time to explain everything. He is so nice and I just love him as my doctor.

I had Dr Urrea when I was in the hospital and he was the most generous , kind, patient doctor ever. He took time to explain to my family and he's so down to earth. He explains things better than anyone I've ever seen. Wish there were more doctors like him.

Dr. Urrea is compassionate and caring. He spent the time needed to ensure I understood everything. Well educated at U of M medical school/residency but does not talk down to you. Goes above and beyond the call of duty talking to family members.

Dr. Urrea is exactly what you would want in a well educated physician from Ann Arbor.

I was in the hospital and Dr Urrea was the doctor who saw me. He took so much time to explain what was making me hurt. It all made so much sense. Then he called to follow up and make sure i was on the right path to getting better. He took time with my wife and children to explain. He's a one of a kind doctor.

My family and I had the most positive experience with Dr. Urrea. I am so sad that he is a hospitalist now because he is the kind of doctor people need in the office, He is kind and caring and will spend time with you to make sure you understand. He will make home visits because he cares. He helped my family with my mom and answered all our questions and reviewed her prescriptions. You can tell he loves what he does because he helps everyone.

I am so sad that Dr. Urrea is no longer doing office hours. He is by far the best Dr. I have ever had or worked with. This man is a saint. He may not always be right, but doesn't pretend to be either. He's always willing to listen to you and your thoughts. He's the most caring Dr. you'll ever get.
