Dr. Ramona Monique Wallace, DO

I had Dr. Romona Wallace for a shirt time and was very upset to hear that she is no longer at muskegon family care. I wish that I knew where she went because I would be going to see her. It is hard to find a Doctor who cares for their patients and your not just a number. She really cares. If anyone knows where she went please post

I started seeing Dr. Kwap(Wallace) back in 1999. She has done wonderful things for my health. I was diagnosed with a cronic blood disorder, (a ten year life expectancy)she quardinated her results with my other Dr’s. Results: After 17 years with my health issues and good care- I’m still having a very productive life (teaching, coaching sports, travel, daily activities) I owe my life to this Dr.

I was very ill. Vomiting, bleeding, inflamed from head to toe, open wounds and going deaf. Ramona Wallace was my PCP. But Muskegon Family Care, where she was practicing, would not allow me to meet her. They said I had to see a guy they called Dr. Bill, first. . Bill Ulrich's plan for helping me with those symptoms, NOTHING! Instead, he kept me coming back month after month, saying he would attend to those later while he monitored my BP. Every month he ignored my constant pain and infections. Then we learned that this Bill Ulrich wasn't even a doctor. Then we were told somebody else would be my PCP, not Wallace, anymore. but I wasn't allowed to meet with the new doctor either. Days later, I started bleeding from my ears. For a YEAR and a half I was denied meeting with either PCP of record. What they did was criminal, and I suffered tremendously for it. Their neglect caused permanent damage and I'm still suffering because of it. .

Greatest doc ever was

Dr. Romona Kwapiszewski was a participant in an insurance fraud scheme at a clinic on Getty Street in Muskegon. I did not choose her, I was referred to her by my insurance provider. When I went to the clinic I had serious medical problems. I was losing my hearing through extremely painful and ongoing ear infections, I had trouble breathing, and my esophagus had shrunk to the size of a no. 2 pencil so I had a hard time swallowing. I had lesions on my head that would not heal, and I could not stop coughing. However, instead of getting to see Dr. Kwapiszewski, I was told I had to see her P.A., Bill Ulrich, instead. Month after month I suffered, while the only thing Ulrich did was metabolic testing. He kept me coming back month after month, thinking he would actually do something to help me, or refer me to my doctor. It wasn't until we wrote a letter of complaint to the administration, that I got referred to a specialist, and never DID get a chance to meet Kwapiszewski. By that… time, my hearing loss was permanent, my sense of smell permanently destroyed, my esophagus had ulcers and required several surgeries. And my insurance had been charged thousands and thousands of dollars for NOTHING! These people should have their licenses taken away.

From my first visit I was very comfortable with the doctor. She took the time to go over my multiple health issues and didn't make me feel rushed. If my appointment ever results in a slightly longer wait, then I assume it's because she is doing the same for another patient. She has helped tremendously with multiple pain issues that I've had for years. She takes me seriously, not brushing off my problems as anxiety or depression. I appreciate that. I would highly recommend her.

This was the first time I had seen her. I was the first apt. of the day. I was told to be 15 minutes early, even though she was 30 minutes late. She perscribed me a new medicine that I was supposed to start that evening. 6 days later it had not been called in yet. After 2 calls by me, her staff called me to ask what she prescribed...it wasn't written in my chart! After 6 days and 4 phone calls later it was called in....to another state. I will be seeing another doctor at another location soon.

if we wait longer then 15 mins there always a good reason just like most of us she a mother and her family comes first i have never had a problem with getting in to see her right away most of the time the same day

she saved my life

I haven't seen Dr. Kwapiszewski in a few years, but I can tell you that this Dr. has amazing bedside manner! I worked for Dr.'s for years in both the family practice setting as well as the hospital setting. Dr. Kwap delivered my last baby, and was the only Dr. out of all three of my delivering doctors who knew what to do to keep a woman in delivery from tearing. She was once a midwife, and her skills outshined the others by far. She truly cares about her patients.
