Dr. Ramteen Rezai, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Razi’s for over 5 years now and don’t think I could trust anyone else. I had met with a number of psychiatrists before seeing Dr. Razi and had ultimately given up on finding a provider. For something as important and sensitive as mental health, it is frustrating to see how other offices can allow patients who are in crisis situations to wait. My experience seeing Dr. Razi has been completely different. In fact, any time I have needed an urgent appointment he has made time for me that day. Sometimes it has been at the end of the day or during his lunch. I am so grateful to have a provider who is incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely cares about my wellbeing.

I have been seeing Dr. Rezai for over 7 years and I LOVE HIM and his team! He remembers details about my life and circumstances. Genuinely cares about my overall wellbeing. After being misdiagnosed and prescribed the wrong medications, I went to TAK in an acute state. His team quickly found my correct diagnosis and helped me change and manage medications. He even agreed with my overall goal of being medication free! I even was free of medication for a period. I love the office staff at TAK as much as I do the practitioners. They all work together! If I ever need ANYTHING there is always someone available to step in and help me. I love that I have a whole psych team at my disposal. They’ve been critical in my mental health journey! I definitely would not be where I am now without their help! Married, 2 kids, homeowner and stable along the way. Grateful is an understatement. I have referred the TAK office to MANY family and friends.

This doctor is total trash. He does not listen and is stuck in the late 90’s early 2000’s era of diagnosing people(which if you are female, was an incredibly harmful time). We know so much more now. This doctor has to do better for his patients. The 90’s called they want their DSM manual back. He said I had insomnia after answering I had trouble sleeping 1-2 nights over the last week. Did he ask why? No he didn’t. I would have told him that my youngest who has autism has been waking frequently throughout the night for a few days in a row. So yeah I think anyone would have trouble sleeping. Seriously, go somewhere else. I tried telling him that I was feeling anxious and having a panic attack but he didn’t care. I asked him if he would speak to my therapist but he said he wouldn’t be doing any follow up. His APRN would do all that. Why is he a doctor?
