Dr. Rana Lee

I regret picking Rana Lee as my dentist. I trusted her expertise and professionalism. She performed a root canal treatment. She missed a canal and closed the tooth with an alive canal. I had been through a lot of pain and sensitivity. During my last visit I complained to her for the increased sensitivity in the treated area, she insisted that I keep on using fluoride to decrease the sensitivity. In the following months the area swelled twice during family trips. I ended up going to a dentists after swelling really bad. The dentist sent me to an endodontist because the location of the tooth predisposed a fourth canal. The dentist said that 75% of the teeth at that location had a fourth canal and it was best for an endodontist to see me. 75% is a pretty solid number. Also, that in such cases it was best for endodontist to treat the patients because they were equipped with more powerful microscopes. The endodontist confirmed the missed canal. The xray showed that the produced liquid… pierced through the jaw bone and caused the abscess. I tried contacting Dr. Lee for 2 months. Every time I was given a different reason why I couldnt talk to her, either they had not received my emails or she was out of office or she was with a patient. I left my number twice for her to call me. I never heard from her. I strongly believe that the best practice was for her to take responsibility for the caused pain and additional expenses. My recommendation to future patients is to pick another dentist. I cannot express how disappointed I am.
