My first visit was for rheumatology, and I left so pleased that I want to send my family to him for a family doctor. He is very knowledgeable, caring, offers helpful information, thorough, no attitude, on time (!), and a really nice person. I would recommend him to anyone. This is my 7th rheumatologist in 28 years - he is the best!

Dr. Sommer is very warm and caring. He took his time with the examination and at No Point did I ever feel rushed, or as though i was just another number in the lineup. I highly recommend Dr. Sommer, he is thorough and his bedside manner is excellent.

Dr. Sommer has been my doctor for over 20 years. He has always been an excellent diagnostician. He is always caring and gives you his full attention. I never feel like I am being rushed. He never fails to return my calls. Couldn't ask for a better physician.

Dr. Sommer is an intelligent and caring physician. As a primary care physician myself, I feel that I can assess the quality of the medical care rendered by Dr. Sommer in certain ways that others may not. He has never disappointed me and I recommend him highly.

Dr. Sommer is the most knowledgable doctor I have ever worked with. He had been my primary care physician for 24 years. He has always given me effective care and referrals . I sincerely believe , because of my health problems, that his care is a principle reason why I am alive today. I can call in the middle of the night, wake him at home and he is pleasant and focused on my needs. I have never waited more than fifteen minutes to see him and most of the time the wait is five minutes or less.
