Dr. Randall James Amis

I was a patient of Dr. Amis about 10 years ago for a pain problem. After about six months of treatment, my pain which had been present for 3 years was completely gone. This was after I had been treated without any success by two other "pain" specialists for 2 years. So when my father needed surgery for his aortic aneurism last month, and I didn't feel like they were taking his medical problems seriously during his preoperative visit, I called Dr. Amis. He examined my dad, reviewed his records, and talked with his internist, before recommending additional tests before the surgery. As a result of these tests, my dad had stents placed in his heart before the aorta surgery. Personally, I think Dr. Amis saved my dad's life. I think having a good anesthesiologist is as important, maybe more important, than having a good surgeon. I really recommend Dr. Amis if you or a loved one are facing major surgery and you want the best anesthesia care possible, or a second opinion.

I've been to over ten different pain specialist at 5 different medical centers for treatment of my chronic pain. If only I had gone to Dr. Amis first. He was very thorough in his evaluation, explained in language I could understand, and answered all my questions. I am doing so much better since I've been under his care. This guy really seems to care about his patients and will go the extra mile for you.
