Dr. Randall Wayne Jennings, MD

Dr. Jennings performed a brostrom procedure on my extremely unstable ankle in the fall of 2019. Prior to the surgery I would majorly sprain my ankle once or twice a year and it would swell to softball size. Since this procedure I have yet to have a major ankle sprain. The synthetic ligaments act like a seatbelt for my ankle. Dr. Jennings precision and attention to detail has allowed me to have a normal ankle again. I Would highly recommend Dr. Jennings for any type of orthopedic surgery.

Total Hip Replacement

This 'doctor' is the worst ortho I have ever had in 48 years. He is abusive, never listens & his work is sub-par at best. Go anywhere else, try Southcoast or go to Eugene.

I was having shoulder pain that I put off for a while but it had gotten so bad that I knew I couldn't put it off any longer. I made an appointment and was able to get in very reasonably. I did not have to wait long in his office either. He is very timely. I have seen other physicians that I had to wait 45 min-1.5 hours just in the waiting room let alone in the exam room. Right away he was very kind, attentive, listened to me and acknowledged my comments and concerns. He did a full, detailed exam on my shoulder and then gave me options of treatment and recommendations. He did not try to push any unnecessary tests or medications on me and in fact, when I had an uncommon reaction to one of the anti-inflammatory medications, he did not make me feel like i was wrong or ridiculous. My shoulder feels so much better and I have already gotten my quality of life back. Thank you Dr. Jennings!

I recently had a full knee replacement and Dr. Jennings was my surgeon. I could not be more satisfied with my surgeon, the venue (Bay Area Hospital/Joint Replacement Program) or the physical therapist (Lawrence Cheal, PT, North Bend Medical Center). Dr. Jennings made me feel like I was his first priority before, during and after the surgery (and I know how busy he is). I was back on my horse five weeks post surgery. Even though we live in a fairly rural community, it became clear to me that Dr. Jennings is a leader in his field and we are most fortunate to have him in our area. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

He is a very good doctor. He is kind and caring. I have seen him for two different injuries. Both times I had physical therapy and then surgery. I have given his name to family and friends.

Without a doubt, our community has a major advantage due to Dr. Jennings. The man cares about his patients and made me feel like he gave his best effort every step of the way. I had a 5+ hour shoulder surgery a few months ago and I am already far better than I was pre-op. He is a friendly fellow and knows his medicine. What else could a person wish for? Remember... He is 50% of your recovery. What you choose to do with his effort is the other 50%. Follow his directions and go the distance, don’t look for excuses and recognize that surgery can only do so much, there are other factors involved, including your own dedication. Dr. Jennings gave me hope for my full recovery along a long road. Thank you sir, we won’t forget it.

I was a little cautious about seeing this doctor from reading the reviews. He was great with me. He took a lot of time to discuss what was going on with my knee. The available solutions. He listened to my comments and concerns. He was very gentle in the physical examination. I don't have one negative thing to say.

Dr. Jennings was there for me when my knee hurt terribly, I could not work or think of anything else but the pain! He did surgery, in a timely fashion and got me back to work! My knee is perfect, just like it never happened!! I would recommend him and his office without reservation!
