Dr. Lawson grew up in Winchester where much of his family still resides. Hegraduated from Winchester Community High School in 1977. He obtained aBachelor of Science degree in chemistry from Illinois College in 1981 where hegraduated Cum Lavde. From there he attended the University Of IllinoisCollege Of Dentistry, gaining the title Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) in1985. Following a short associate ship in the Chicago area Dr, Lawsonreturned to the Jacksonville area- assuming the practice of Dr. RaymondTemplin in March of 1986. He and his staff moved to their current location inJanuary of 1998 following the purchase of the practice of retiring Dr. RobertHerr. He is currently a member of the Morgan-Scott Volunteer Clinic andparticipates in the national program Donated Dental Services. He is a memberof Salem Lutheran Church and is currently serving his third year ascongregational chairman. The Lawson's have a son and daughter currentlyattending college.
