Dr. Randall Douglas Mcclellan, MD

My son had an appt with Dr. McCellan today. He was very patient, kind, thorough and truly put my mind at ease. He took the time to listen to all my concerns and didn’t make me feel like the overprotective mother that I am.

Please be very careful when using this doctor. He was not attentive to our daughters needs and did not follow through with trying to find out why our daughter was having so many problems. We wasted months using this doctor with no answers and found answers with a new doctor in 2 visits. My daughter suffered because of his lack of caring and not following through with what he says he will do. Dr. McClellan also gets a extreme case of tunnel vision even though test results say otherwise and medication does not improve the symptoms. Use extreme caution!

I can't say enough about how much I appreciate the care my son received by Dr. McClellan. He actually spent 40 minutes with us at his first appointment explaining my child's condition and answering my questions and concerns. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Dr. McClellan was supposed to perform a procedure on my son. When we were in his office there was some concerns that he needed to check on and he told us he would be getting back to us. His office called me back and they did not know the answers to the questions he was going to get back to us on. They told us our son was scheduled. I asked what we needed to do to prepare. We were told something right the opposite of what was said in the exam room. When I questioned the inconsistances, I was told maybe I should go to another doctor in another city 80 miles away. I requested the doctor call me back. When he called back he said that he refused to do my son's procedure. Now he left my 17 month old child hanging out there with no help. He punished my son for the personality conflicts with us his parents. He was not caring at all during any of the times we talked to him.
