Dr. Randy Jay Rottman, MD

Desk person was nice. I got there at 10:35 a.m. for 10:40 appointment. The office was full of people. I sat watching people being taken back until finally someone asked me if I was still waiting and that was about 11:25. Then a lady came and sat me at a machine and did something there and then took me into a room. By this time it was approx 11:40 and she did the preliminary work up with questions and holding the thing over one eye and then the other.. She had JUST finished and had JUST put dilation drops in my eyes and told me we was going to go do more tests when Dr Rottman abruptly came in and looked briefly at the computer then looked with the light thing into my eyes. I felt he was being very rude. I immediately felt that I was being rushed through. She had just put the drops in my eyes and it couldn't have been even a minute. I don't believe that it had even started to dilate. It was almost 12 noon. Everyone was hustling to go to lunch with their lunchbags. He told me I had 20… 20 vision and he'd see me again in a year. Then he left and told me to check out at the desk. He left and I took paperwork to desk. No one was around as we stood waiting again at the desk. We could hear them down the hall having lunch. I waited and finally someone saw me said she would get the lady to check me out and then she came. I gave her the paperwork, she asked if I needed to schedule an appointment, I told her no, I'd do that later and I left. I was very upset and angry. I totally felt I was RUSHED OUT so they could have their lunch. I know he spent longer times with other patients because my husband and I sat and watched while we was waiting our turn. I also felt that it was a total waste of Dialation Drops. I felt like my insurance is being ripped off by what this office will charge them for. I am VERY UNHAPPY and I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN!

Knowledgeable, professional staff. Friendly, thorough exam, answered questions in understandable language, very competent. Dr. Rottman himself is beyond great. Would recommend them to anyone as the best!
