I started my journey with Dr. Ruark back in 2024 for severe hip osteoarthritis. I already needed a total hip replacement when I had my first visit. He was my second opinion. Instantly, I felt comfortable with him. He is direct, but kind. He answered all of my questions with confidence and supporting information. I finally decided to get the surgery 2 years later. He provided me reassurance that I needed during my preop visit. He visited my room before the surgery and checked in on me. He is a phenomenal doctor. My surgery is done. I'm recovering. The entire staff has been amazing. I highly recommend Dr. Ruark and his entire staff. Especially Melinda and Teresa. I was very scared of this surgery but they all made it an easy journey. Wonderful practice.

Today's visit was very helpful and informative. I am planning to have a knee replacement on June 5, 2026. The surgery will take place at the Phenix City location. This is a big decision for an elderly person and at this point, I think the correct one. Dr. Ruark was helpful for the preopt information. I went to see Dr. Rurak because he did my hip surgery. I had an accident where I step on a clothes hanger and felled on my hip. It was in pain but then my other hip started to hurting. Dr. Ruark took his time and examined the situation and explained how he was going to treat what he found.
