After waiting for about half an hour after being told the PA would see me first, and then the doctor. The ENT walks in the room obviously in a rush with the PA and it seems this ENTs approach was less listening, and more trying to tell me what he thought was happening. Every time I tried to describe my symptoms, the ENT visibly got more irritated and was obviously in a rush as previously mentioned. This visit was meant to be a follow up visit from an appointment I had January 5th with a PA who was super kind, patient, and open to questions. In that initial appointment, we ruled out that nothing was going on in my throat itself and that it was my tonsils that were irritated (the right one specifically). This was ruled out through the camera in the nose, down the throat check. However, when I tried to explain this to Dr. Randall Ruffner, he dismissed this and insisted that my issue was reflux related and tried to shove a camera into my nose and down my throat without consent. The… appointment was 5 minutes at very most. I was recommended to take reflux medication which was not the issue and left the room feeling terrible and hopeless about my condition.
