Dr. Randall Joseph Tindell, MD

I had a minor meniscus tear (reviewed by 2+ doctors post op based on the pre op MRI) and Dr Tindell cut so much of the meniscus out during surgery that I went from running 5 miles a day to never running again. I've seen 4 more doctors in New York and 3 in San Francisco and they all corroborate that the initial surgery took out 80% of the meniscus when it should have taken 5%. The most likely outcome will be a complete knee replacement. If you want to walk without a limp or run every after surgery, I'd avoid this doctor.

Dr. Tindell has replace my knee and shoulder. This doctor is one I trust with my life. He was kind, caring, professional and a great surgeon. He followed me all the way through both surgeries. After surgery the knee never got better. I took the same MRI data disk to a different doctor, who indicated I had bone spurs, the disk was erroded, with bone on bone, and arthritis. Why did this doctor not know the extent of the damage after performing surgery. I would not send anyone to see him.
