Due to traffic and Hwy construction I was late to my appointment. When I got there they said they couldn’t see me.. He had something else to do and was leaving on a two week vacation. So I could come back in two weeks and made me an appointment and if I had problems go to ER. I am going to try another Doctor. I felt neglected.

I have been a patient of Dr. Minton's for approx 6 yrs now, and he and his staff have always been responsive to requests, helpful, and an all around pleasure to do business with. Dr. Minton has a very calming effect when speaking with you about very serious issues and has been proficient at diagnosis.

Dr Minton: You give your patients the amount of one-on-one attention that allows us (patients) to feel we are in the hands of a caring and well-knowledged individual. Truth may hurt, but you do not sweeten the condition of our illness, you are bluntly honest. In regard to the office and assistants, the clinic is well above the norm. I encourage anyone with any type of heart condition to go to my heart doctors office. All of the doctors are exceptional.

I would highly recommend Dr Minton. He was very professional but showed concern about findings on tests I had done in my home town. They did not repeat the tests. He reviewed findings and presented options. I had a heart cath followed with 5 vessel bypass surgery. . The surgeon, Dr Bauer, was terffic. We had to call after hours and the doctor who called back within 5 minutes. My wife has been a nurse for over 30 years and she was very impressed with Dr. MINTON.

Dr. Minton was my dads primary cardiologist and due to his misdiagnosis and misleading us in the wrong direction and insisting that my dads condition was pulmonary related or possibly intestinal related; we sought other avenues--for pulmonary and with time going by another dr suggested that it was possibly heart related etc. After many trips to the dr and now just back from the Mayo Clinic who have the best of the best drs--my dad was diagnosed with Restrictive Cardiomyopathy and needs a total heart and lung transplant but due to the fact that his health has deteriorated so badly that he cannot undergo surgery at this point. If Dr Minton had done his job the right way and conducted more tests and taken more time with hime (even thought he was his patient for a year) then my dad might have been able to have had a heart transplant at that time--I would advise and suggest that if you are looking for a cardiologist and are looking at Dr Minton--please keep on looking because their are much… better ones out there!!!
