I bring my mom here. She is very happy. There is never a wait and the staff is very nice.

Just had my first visit last week. Dr. Katz took the time to explain my condition in language I was able to understand. Unfortunately a cancer diagnosis can be very difficult. She was able to put my mind at ease and comfort me. I am lucky to have her by my side.

Although Dr. Katz claims to believe in "kind, compassionate care" (according to the NJ Hematology Oncology website), my consult with her lacked any type of genuine human compassion entirely. I realize no one is perfect and she could have very well been having a tough day - it happens. And, after reading other reviews, it does appear that she has helped others tremendously. But my experience with her was not positive whatsoever. As a medical professional, it is your duty to engage with your patients. No one is visiting a hematologist because they want to - this isn't a monthly nail or hair appointment. Patients go to her because there's an issue that their primary care physician cannot figure out. Not everyone has a warm bedside manner, but her lack of empathy and her aggressive attitude (questioning me by saying "do you have something in your eye - are those tears? are you crying? what is the problem?") were astounding... in the most negative way possible. My primary care doctor knows… what happened and ensured me she would no longer recommend Dr. Katz.

Liked her very much - felt comfortable and she answered all of my questions.

I met Dr Katz after surgery to be treated for my cancer diagnosis. Dr Katz was very patient, understanding and attentive to my needs. She was very thorough and took her time explaining my options and allowing me to ask questions until I understood . I am truly no longer fearing my diagnosis. I am looking forward to treatment as I now understand the process and that if I do have questions Dr Katz will be there to answer them. I have recommended Dr Katz to friends who are also facing similar circumstances.

Dr. Katz is kind and compassionate. She puts you at ease immediately. She is knowledgeble, and takes her time. I am lucky to have her by my side.

I am currently a stage 3 colorectal cancer patient of MSK . Who referred me out for a medical marijuana prescription. (They do not prescribe at MSK) I have been receiving chemotherapy for over five years and didn’t think it would be a problem attaining a prescription. Dr. Katz never looked Me in they eye during our consultation. She minimized my side effects And made me feel like I was just a drug attic looking for a fix . Left the offic
