Dr. Randle Scott Corfman, MD

I’ve never had a more positive experience with a medical care provider. Dr Corfman and his entire team treat you with the care like that of a family member. Words can’t express the gratitude I have for him and his team. I highly highly recommend him to anyone who may need a reproductive specialist!

We went in with hopes of what everyone hopes for, pregnancy. What seemed like a never-ending journey of infertility became a reality of we will help you get pregnant. Dr. Corfman is blunt, he's not going to sugar coat things for you. Some people don't like this but at this point in our infertility journey we were sick of regulatr OB's sort of sugar coating things "Just keep trying," "People get pregnant every day," "Sometimes it can take longer." "Come back in 6 months and we will run some tests." This works for some people but when you have a diagnosed women's health issue that affects your fertility, time is usually not on your side. We felt he was compassionate and really wanted to help us. I've seen reviews that he was not the most kind and understanding of people. I disagree with this. He is blunt, but we would rather just be told how it is. This staff is the best around. They are super prompt with requests and we always felt they were on our team. The clinic setting seems a… little more old school than your bigger clinics in MN. We were able to get pregnant during our first round with a fresh transfer and able to freeze embryos as well. The knowledge that the staff has makes this clinic excel. When I called with questions about something, no matter what nurse answered, we were able to get an answer. I liked that for the IVF egg retrieval process that you're awake for it. Some clinics put you to sleep which seems excessive. The only thing I was bummed about during our IVF journey was no embryo pictures. That would have been a nice keepsake, but not needed for the success of the pregnancy. The whole process could have taken us 3 months I feel but we wanted to wait a few more for financial reasons. This isn't a long process if you meet all of the prerequisite testing and don't need any additional surgeries and/or weight loss. Overall we had an excellent experience. Waiting room wait time is very minimal, they are very prompt and if you're early, they're usually coming to get you to a room early. We hope that this review brings couples struggling with infertility to MCRH so they can have the best experience.

We were so scared to finally move on to a fertility specialist and IVF. We put a lot of work into researching the different fertility clinics in MN. We charted out and compared all kinds of stats and factors (success rates, cost, number of Dr's, reviews, etc.) We decided to pick our top two and have consults with each one. We left our consult with the first clinic resigned to the idea that the process was going to be as bad as we feared. Then we had our consult with Dr. Corfman at MCRH and we felt immediately at ease. There was no question which clinic we would choose. Dr. Corfman had obviously read our file beforehand (not the case at the other clinic) and gave recommendations specific to our situation. He spent time explaining everything, even drawing pictures. From that very first consult through several failed transfers to our first ultrasound of our baby, Dr. Corfman, the nurses and all the staff were amazing and we knew we were getting the best care. Dr. Corfman is… straightforward but kind and he is genuinely interested in your success. Tiffany, our coordinator, was so down-to-earth and friendly. We always felt that decisions were ours to make but appreciated that Dr. Corfman and Tiffany were willing to share their opinions about what they would do in certain situations. The nurses were phenomenal. The process can be overwhelming and complicated but they explained things SO WELL. When I would leave a voicemail with a question, they were calling me back practically before I hung up the phone. I did have one instance of an after hours emergency and the nurse and then Dr. Corfman were so fast to respond and walked through the issue with me. I also want to point out that I live in rural MN, hours away from MCRH. Dr. Corfman worked closely with my local clinic for monitoring and it could not have been smoother. He knows rural communities so well! My only regret is that we didn't go to MCRH sooner in our journey. We welcomed a perfect baby girl this summer and we could not be more grateful to MCRH.

We walked into his office for the first time not knowing a thing about IVF- but just knowing we would need it to get pregnant. I did a lot of research before settling on a doctor, and came across MCRH. I read through their handbook before our consult and discovered I would need to lose about 70lbs before I would be seen. Dr. Corfman requires you to be at a BMI equal to or under 30. And honestly- I needed to lose the weight anyway. I appreciated already having a doctor who wasnt going to sugar coat things. Dr. Corfman was knowledgeable and explained the entire IVF process to us our first consult. It was determined we could start for their next series. Every staff member we encountered and interacted with was phenomenal, and I never once felt like I was asking too many questions, or asking dumb questions. I always felt like the staff was here for us, sensitive to our situations,… and in our corner. We paid roughly $19,000 for our treatment and to be honest I feel like that is a great price. I never expected this to be cheap. We had a successful fresh IVF cycle and are excited to welcome our little miracle in Feburary of 2021.

Dr. Corfman and his team are unmatched in my experience. Not only did he lead us to success, our journey with him and his outstanding team exceeded our expectations at every juncture. Knowledge, compassion, and professionalism are top notch and exhibited across the team at MCRH. We do not have a single negative thing to say about this group!

Me and my wife would love to give a lot of thanks to Dr. Randle Corfman and The Midwest Center for Reproductive Health staff threw our journey of ivf we wouldn’t have wanted to do it any other way. Everyone there has such an upbeat attitude, everyone was such a great help with all our questions and everything the whole entire time making us feel as comfortable as can be every minute of the way, leaving us feeling very blessed that we got the pleasure to work with them. It's been over 5 years since we met with Dr. Corfman and his team; in 2014 we had a healthy set of Twins! We had met with other doctors before Dr. Corfman but he was the most personable, understanding, yet open and honest, with our infertility. We trusted his direction and he helped my family grow! I would highly recommend him to anyone struggling with infertility!

Dr Corfman and his entire staff were friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They are knowledgeable with great bedside manner. They always run on time for appointments and make an otherwise difficult time, just a little bit easier.
