Dr. Randolph Peter Holmes, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Holmes' for several years. He has such a pleasant demeanor and is very patient, caring, extremely knowledgeable, takes plenty of time to listen to your concerns, answers all your questions and then some, and never hesitates to order needed tests or give referrals to specialists. I had a serious medical issue last year and even though I was seeing specialists for treatment, he monitored my case throughout and was always there if I needed anything. Very positive and supportive. Office wait times are very short, 5-10 mins; appointments are never rushed. Any needed paperwork is always done in half the quoted turnaround time. Front office staff is always pleasant and helpful as well. I'm so grateful to have Dr. Holmes as my doctor!

This man is the finest MD I have ever encountered. He has great bedside manner, impeccable education, training and hands on experience. There is no better. I am a 61 year old recovering addict and my life has turned around for the good under his care and guidance. My husband my four kids and my self have been going to Bright Medical for 22 years, now PIH Bright Health! I have been ill for 10 months now started out with Vertigo, I have had numerous tests, blood tests, etc..I have been taking all medications which consist of Zoloft, Amnitripeline, Cymbalta (Off now), Lyrica, and Xanax! One female doctor who just started at Bright Medical her recommendation to Dr. Holmes was that it was a "Mental Disorder" when I was truly suffering, I was unable to understand, sweating, heart was racing, tremors, mini convulsions, electric shocks through out body, something was penetrating my face, my brain, nose, ears, were on fire, i couldn't walk had to be carried, Long story short-Dr. Holmes has seen me 3 times in 22 years, he knows nothing about me except my test results (NOT MY FAULT) that they are coming back normal, He refused to send me back to the ENT and have an MRI done on me. So we went outside our HMO Insurance, Saw a New ENT and Paid cash for the… MRI! Well, results came back normal-Okay-great! Well the HIGHLY recommended ENT that we went to said "you need to go back to the Neurologist-this is not normal even though your MRI came back normal. The ENT also stated that the MRI DOES NOT test or know how the body is functioning inside! ENT stated you need to go back to your FP-(WELL IN MY CASE NO ONE SHOULD EVER FEEL FRIGHTENED OR SCARED TO GO BACK TO THEIR FP WHICH IN MY CASE YOU BET 100% SCARED) Dr. Holmes has denied me on numerous test that I NEED to be able to get better, THIS IS JUST NOT A COLD WE ARE DEALING WITH, I still can't walk by myself, my head, my face, my throat is always hot -not running a fever, I feel like I am going to pass out, i still have this sharp object penetrating the outside of my throat, I can not function anymore or uphold my duties that I am suppose to do in the last 10 months, in the last 3 weeks it's getting worse, i can't cook, i can't drive, I can't home school my kids anymore, He insists that it is Fibromyalgia, Well Dr. Holmes I asked you to prescribe me Valtrex because I had Shingles about 5 years ago, you told me NO that you would not prescribe this to me! Well, I just read an article about there is a NEW ANTIVIRAL medication that just might help called Valtrex, the same medicine that I asked you about for the shingles! YOU ARE HINDERING ME FROM GETTING BETTER, YOU ARE DEPRIVING ME FROM MY DUTIES AS A HUMAN, A MOM, A WIFE AND MY ENTIRE LIFE! YOU NEED TO RETIRE! YOUR OUTDATED ON YOUR MATERIAL, SOMETIMES OLD WAYS ARE OLD AND OUT DATED AND THEY NEED FRESH NEW YOUNG ONES TO TAKE OVER, TO TRY NEW THINGS TO SEE IF IT WORKS! You have yelled at me while my 19 year old son was in the office with me, you have lied straight to my face and told me that an X-RAY would show a pinched nerve or a bone spur-which is a crock of crap!

He is compassionate, caring, incredibly smart and has a good sense of humor. He keeps abreast of the latest developments and has a wonderful nurse to help him.
