Dr. Randolph Jeffries Jacobs, MD

My mother has been a patient of dr. Jacobs for 20+ years. Due to her age, I now have been taking her to her appointments. He is the worst physician I have seen for many years. He causes my mother so much pain every visit, removing way too many growths at one time all over her body causing swelling and pain in all her extremities for a week. His bedside manner is very bad especially when treating an older patient. He doesn’t give them any injections to lessen the pain and this is a person with very fragile skin. I will never have my mother return to his office. Patients should think twice before letting him cut on you. The worst ever!

This doctor likes to submit unnecessary lab tests to steal from insurance companies. buyer beware. his practice in sun city smells bad,old and dirty. horrible staff that are unprofessional and cannot do simple medical front office tasks. Look elsewhere for a dermatologist, as you can see he is horrible and his ratings all over the web prove it. Go to a more capable and professional dermatologist.

I would never recommend him. He double books and the wait is forever. He acts like he is in a rush to get you out of there as fast as he can. Find anybody else!

I waited over an hour. He double books.He walked in, never looked at my chart from primary, & asked why I was there. I told him I was worried because I was losing my hair (I didn't mention anything my primary said)& lifted up my hair to show the loss around my forehead & temple area (quite a bit of loss).Still standing a distance from me, he said, oh, you have alopecia... (nonchalantly). I asked what that was, he told me & I began to ask questions, what is it, what can be done... He stopped me, said he would give me a pamphlet that would explain it. he said he could give $100 shots or I could try a steriod cream. HE NEVER ONCE TOUCHED MY SCALP TO TAKE A CLOSER LOOK. HE NEVER GOT WITHIN 2FT OF ME! He ordered lab work (that was already done by my primary), gave me some samples of a steriod foam (no directions on how to use it) and that was it!!Since then, I have mentioned him to others & they just say, oh yeah, I have heard of him.
