Dr. Randolph Harris Palmore, MD

Dr. Palmore is the best! He's extremely knowledgeable, clearly cares about his patients, and makes going to the doctor a pleasant experience. He's very accessible and always makes time to see me when I have questions. I highly recommend Dr. Palmore for anyone's primary care needs.

I’m really unhappy with this doctor and will not be going back. He only cares about money and does NOT care about his patients at all. I went to see him for an annual wellness checkup and was prescribed a medication for my anxiety. He told me that we would check in after a month of me taking the medication to see if I was doing well with it. I assumed this would just be over the phone as is normal practice with most doctors. When I called back after a month, he was on vacation for 2 weeks and did not have anyone at the office. So I was off my prescription for about a week before getting ahold of him and experiencing serious withdrawals. Then when I finally was able to contact him he told me I would need to come in person for an appointment for a refill on my medication (this is not standard practice and I’ve never had this happen before… it’s unusual to be asked to come in for a full appointment for a REFILL of something the doctor has already prescribed). It’s clear that he’s only… trying to make money by doing this. My insurance does not cover anything outside of an annual wellness exam, so it would be $90 for me to just get a REFILL of my medication. Absolutely ridiculous. Would not recommend this crook of a doctor.

Dr. Palmore is an excellent diagnostician. He is a careful and thorough physician. I have been a patient of his for about 20 years. I also would like to compliment his nurse, Debbie. She can take blood or administer a shot without any pain. Believe me, people who can do that are worth their weight in gold!

I went for the annual physicals & got charged for the co-pay, even though my insurance company paid for everything and I had zero liability. When I asked their office about the co-pay, they said that during the visit the doctor discussed with me two of my conditions. The first one was a complete lie--I don't even have that condition and never discussed it with the doctor. The second one came up when he asked about my medical history and I merely mentioned it as part of a routine Q&A like what you would do with every doctors visit. No treatment, medication, or medical advice was given during this visit, other than the annual physicals. My suggestion for people visiting this doctor is to be careful because they will make up things and charge you for something you didnt receive. In my case, they double-charged the insurance company and the patient. If they could do this kind of unethical things for such a small amount of money, I can't imagine what they would do for bigger stakes.

I have nothing but good to write about Dr. Palmore and his nurse,Debbie. They are simply put THE BEST!!!

You never have to wait longer than 5 minutes. His nurse is wonderful.
