Dr. Sherman and his team were wonderful. He listened to me and answered any questions I had before my procedure. I am very happy with all the care that was provided for me.

Very poor bedside manner, rude, and condescending.

Stared at my breasts the entire time instead of my eyes while in consultation. Upon introduction, told me he only had 2 minutes. That's $5000 an hour if he had spent the required hour consultation time. To be sexually harassed with his eyeballs all over my breasts and get paid is beyond atrocious. I need surgical care, that is certain. I have a devastating fascia and muscle rupture which needs immediate and critical repair. But he says he doesn't know how to fix that, which I don't believe. I think he just is discriminating against me for being too complex for him, or he only takes easy simple jobs (although he advertises himself as being a multi-disciplinary complex reconstructive surgeon!) That he is not. If you're looking for a surgeon with proper bed side manners, who spends quality time to consult with you, Dr Randy Sherman is the wrong doctor, in my opinion and experience. I was even referred to him by another doctor to work in a team to repair me. Then proceeded to lie to me… that he had a fascia graft placed in his own shoulder girdle, and had an infection, had to have it removed. I'm suffering from severe scoliosis as a result of my condition, so I asked him "Do you suffer from scoliosis too?" And he said, "Yes." Why would anyone want a surgeon operating on him or her if the surgeon is suffering from scoliosis and in chronic pain. That's certainly to distract from any surgery performance. Then on my way out, after being sexualized and treated indigently, an older over weight man in his late 60s tells me Dr Sherman worked on him in a team with another surgeon to repair the exact same medical condition I have. I was treated with sexual harassment, treated with no care, told lies, wasted my time and given no understanding nor any options to repairing my orthopedic deformity, all while Dr Randy Sherman was paid. Shameful.

Excellent doctor. He was very kind and reassuring. He spent a very long time with me and explained clearly and thoroughly all the types of surgery options that might help me. He reviewed the risks so that I would be prepared. I would highly recommend him.

Dr Sherman did one of the best post mastectomy reconstruction jobs I've ever seen. My results were so natural looking.

He did an extremely poor quality breast reconstruction. I had to have it completely redone by a more competent plastic surgeon. He didn't listen to me and many times he wasn't even at my appointment...his PA handled appointments. He should NEVER do post-mastectomy breast reconstruction.

Would recommend Dr Sherman to anyone... I was so scared for my procedure and he made me feel very at ease and confident.. Number one pick after seeing 4 Doctors... Now I want my face doneð???

I wait for a reconstructive procedure after an orthopedic surgery. I was told very little about procedure beforehand and that everything was going to be fixed and look good. After surgery, I received post op instructions that required major coordination on short notice. I had complications, Dr Sherman was very elusive about how the procedure went and not very supportive. I gave the recuperative process about 5 months and was still very unhappy about results. On my last post - op visit, I was basically told ,"I fixed it and never said how it would look." Its been almost 2 years and my surgery looks even worse and I have pain I never had before!
