Dr. Hoover is an excellent communicator and listener.

When all other doctors have failed, this guy took the time to listen to the observations of the family members. After years of misdiagnosis my mom finally lucked into coming into contact with this doctor at the Johnson City Medical Center. I was very frustrated with her now former doctor and with the rapid decline of my mother's condition. Doctor Hoover had some suspicion about the possible cause of her condition during his examination. The most admiral thing was that he contacted another doctor or two to consult (which meant that he had no ego issues), and together, the came up with an answer. I can say enough good things about this young doctor. I highly recommend him but I think he is the hospital doctor of his group and I don't know if he has regular patients. If your lucky, he does have a regular practice and you can see him if you feel your doctor is not paying attention or may have a problem with ego.
